Can she persuade them she had nothing to do with Celia’s criminal empire? Meanwhile, things are no better at the depot as the police search continues. Shock soon ripples through when Ray’s body is discoverd in the back of a van. So who put it there? Here’s what we know from Emmerdale spoilers for Mon, Jan 12. The polcie arrive in the village (Credit: ITV) 1. Moira under suspicion It’s a peaceful morning in the village, but not for long of course! The police are soon driving in convoy up Main Street. DS Stewart arrives at Butler’s Farm and sets about interviewing the staff. But Moira has no time for questions as she heads off to collect Cain from the hospital. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Robert and Victoria are interviewed and given Robert knows he has set Moira up, he does all he can to paint her in an innocent light. He hopes he’s done enough to save her bacon. Cain and Moira are next to be questioned and it’s clear DS Walsh is suspicious of her relationship with Celia. Moira does her best to make the police officer see she is innocent, but is it enough? Later, the police visit Home Farm and question Joe, who wastes no time in making sure Moira is investigated further… Caleb and Jai are stunned when a body is found (Credit: ITV) 2. A body is found in Emmerdale spoilers The police are also searching the depot again over the drugs allegations. They have word from April and Dylan drugs were likely couriered through the business. Jai, Caleb and Billy are stunned, but even more so when Ray’s body is found inside the van. Jai was the last to drive it so he is under pressure to explain his movements. Caleb even suspects Jai might have offed Ray, who insists it had to have been Celia. Caleb doesn’t see how Celia had access to their vans and is certain it was someone closer to home. So who did it? A ripple of shock runs through with Billy breaks the news about Ray (Credit: ITV) 3. The villagers all look guilty Handily the villagers in the frame are all in the café when Billy arrives. He breaks the news that Ray’s body has been found. Laurel, Marlon, April, Rhona and Paddy are there and they all look shifty. But did any of them have anything to do with this? Dylan is particularly hurt by the news (Credit: ITV) 4. Dylan defends Ray in Emmerdale spoilers April can see Dylan is struggling with the news of Ray’s death. She tries to talk to him about how Ray manipulated them all and he was a bad man. But emotional Dylan insists no matter who or what he was, Ray didn’t deserve to die. Is he acting out of guilt because he killed him? Or does Dylan genuinely feel torn over his mentor’s demise? 5. Arthur lashes out Laurel is trying to keep it together, but she has a clash with Arthur. He tells her she has no right to lecture him after what happened with Ray.
