This week on screen we Moira confront Celia after finding out about her lies and Celia attempt to destroy Ray’s relationship with Laurel. But Ray is starting to rebel… Also, Kim lost her beloved horse Ice and found out the truth about Lydia’s betrayl, leaving Kim more isolated than ever. We already know from spoilers for Monday, December 22 to Friday, December 26 there’s plenty more drama to as it’s Christmas! Beyond this, we can also look forward to watching some big storylines finally reaching their end, some huge characters may be saying goodbye – and some other villagers getting a chance to shine. We know it’s coming. Ray Walters and Celia Daniels will be leaving Emmerdale one way or another. And soon. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Jaye Griffiths, who plays Celia has revealed she will be leaving. She told us she always knew the role would be “finite” but that she was sad about it ending because Emmerdale is “heaven” to work at. And, appearing on Lorraine last month, actor Joe Absolom, who plays Ray, talked about being an “unemployed actor” which many have taken as a hint he’s filmed his final Emmerdale scenes. That would be perfect timing for a big Christmas reveal and a huge Corriedale episode… Now Marlon and Rhona also know the horrifying truth and Dylan has woken up, so it’s only a matter of time before more people find out. So how will Ray and Celia leave? Celia has announced they are moving to a farm in Wrexham on New Year’s Day, but will they make it? Ray is listed as appearing in the Corriedale episode, but where is Celia? Kev has gone – but hopefully not for good! (Credit: ITV) 2. Kev is back in Emmerdale spoilers Big bad Kev might have gone for now, but Aaron and Robert know, and so do we, that’s it’s not for good. ITVX has teased a return for Kev – and John Sugden – by updating their cover picture. Ryan Hawley who plays Robert told Digital Spy December and Christmas are “high stakes”. “It’s not a very easy time for Aaron and Robert this December. The events leading up to Christmas and New Year into the Corriedale special are very high stakes.” He continued: “Robert’s state of mind around Christmas is panic, very anxious. There’s a threat to life this Christmas.” Robert then goes missing on Christmas Day – where is he? Kev promised he ‘always gets revenge’ and now we know he is the one tormenting Robert and Aaron next week. With Robert going missing on Christmas Day, is Kev behind it? What what revenge will he take? Fans hope John gets his comeuppance (Credit: ITV) 3. John Sugden’s dramatic comeback Also confirmed for a return is killer John Sugden. He managed to escape justice and run away abroad previously, but we’ve always said the chances are that Emmerdale did not air John’s exit on a random Wednesday night. The clues have been coming thick and fast that he will be connected to the upcoming Corriedale. A poster displayed in the Corrie police station popped up again earlier this week. Both Coronation Street and Aaron actor Danny Miller shared that on their socials, suggesting this is definitely an Easter Egg of what’s to come. Actor Oliver Farnworth appeared at the Corriedale press event earlier this week and John has been named in the cast list for the special crossover episode. So we now know he’s definitely coming back, but how, why and what his fate will be remains to be seen. Things get very dramatic in Corriedale next year (Credit: ITV) 4. Corriedale is coming! Another new trailer has been released for Corriedale, which reveals a huge car pile up. The special episode will air next year to promote the beginning of the soap power hour which will see Emmerdale air at 8pm followed by Corrie at 8.30pm every weeknight. The promo teases a catastrophic car pile-up. Among those caught in the chaos are Corrie favourites Kit Green, Carla Connor, Asha Alahan, Shona Platt and James Bailey. Emmerdale characters Cain and Charity Dingle, Sarah and Robert Sugden, Jacob Gallagher and Joe Tate. They join an already star-studded line-up featuring David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Aaron Dingle and Lisa Swain. In the aftermath, Kit Green takes charge as a visibly shaken Carla tries to calm a distressed casualty. Shona and David lie injured roadside while Emmerdale’s Jacob Gallagher leaps into action. Meanwhile, Corrie’s Asha and the Dales’ Cain are tackling more casualties nearby. Elsewhere, Kevin and Abi are desperately searching for Debbie. Plus, Robert’s cries for Aaron echo through the darkness. Pregnant Charity and Shona appear together, with Shona screaming in agony. The clip has fans wondering if a baby swap is on the horizon. Both are carrying children in dramatic circumstances. Shona’s baby in Corrie has a cancerous tumour and her life is at risk. Meanwhile, Charity is actually carrying her own baby, conceived with Ross Barton, when she’s supposed to be a surrogate for granddaughter Sarah. Charity is lying to everyone that the baby is Sarah and Jacob’s. We’re very excited! Victoria will be heading off on maternity leave (Credit: ITV) 7. An exit for Victoria in Emmerdale spoilers In the coming months we will be saying goodbye to the iconic Victoria Sugden. But in happier news, it’s not forever – as actress Isabel Hodgins announced she is expecting her first baby! Isabel recently got married and so the whole thing is absolutely adorable. And she joins the many Emmerdale stars having babies recently. It just means we will lose Victoria soon. And we have a few ideas on how that will go down. However, we do like the theory that Adam Thomas may reprise his role as Adam Barton and whisk her away with him – what a treat that would be! Charity’s secret explodes in Emmerdale spoilers In a SHOCKING turn of events Ross slept with Charity and is the father of the baby Charity is carrying. This would bring heartache for Sarah and Jacob, who are under the impression the embryo transplant worked and that Charity is carrying their baby. She couldn’t go through with an abortion, nor could she bring herself to tell the truth. However, the lies are beginning to take their toll. And by Christmas Charity has made a confession to Vanessa. Vanessa then ends up spending Christmas Day with Charity and the Woolpack owner is terrified she will say something when she’s drunk. It’s not long before Charity’s baby secret explodes.
