John Pierce Jones plans to trade in his trusty boat the Mistress Wilful for a larger yacht, but does not consult his sailing partner Dilwyn Morgan. The new vessel is moored at Bere Island in Ireland, so the duo take the Mistress on one last trip to see it and put the yacht to the test
