Celebrity Traitors on BBC One: When the next episode is on after viewers are left on a cliffhanger
Viewers have been left on another dramatic cliffhanger - and they want answers!The Celebrity Traitors has left viewers on another massive cliffhanger – but when is the next episode on, we hear you cry.
Fans of the BBC show are desperate to tune in to episode 3 to find out what happened at the end of the Round Table.
One celebrity from the 19-strong line-up has already been murdered and another is about to be banished. Here’s everything we know about what to expect from episode 3 and when Celebrity Traitors is on next.
The Celebrity Traitors: Recap
The latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors started with a massive shock. Episode 2 began with Traitor Alan Carr bumping off his first victim. Viewers were stunned to see that Alan chose his good friend, singer Paloma Faith, to murder. It was a massive shock, as he had to opportunity to pick Irish actress Ruth Codd instead.
The episode was a rather morbid affair. Paloma’s death was a slow one, which meant she was involved in the second mission before she left. The celebrities – including Alan’s fellow Traitors Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns – had to attend a very dark funeral, complete with pouring rain and Claudia riding on horseback while wearing a black veil.
In order to win cash for charity, the celebrities had to answer a series of clues correctly that pointed to three of their identities. Once identified, the three stars had to lie in a black coffin each. They were social media star Niko Omilana, comedian Lucy Beaumont and Paloma. The gang were then stunned to watch Claudia then slam Paloma’s coffin lid shut, signalling her death. This meant she was out of the game.
Who was banished in episode 2?
The second episode ended on a huge cliffhanger. With Paloma now gone, the remaining 18 celebrities had to pick who they thought was one of the Traitors among them. But fans never got to find out who was banished (which means they are eliminated from the game and sent home).
Only nine votes were cast before the show ended. Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway had three votes, while Niko also had three. EastEnders actress Tameka Empson finished the episode with two votes, while Olympic diver Tom Daley had one.
Niko said: “The reality that I might be gone at the first round table is starting to set in.” Kate added: “My biggest fear is I could be out the game, they have got it so wrong.”
Broadcaster and writer, Stephen Fry, was just poised to give his vote when the credits began to roll. An eight further celebrities will also need to vote before someone is banished.
When is the next episode on? What expect
Unsurprisingly, viewers are very keen to find out the outcome of the Round Table votes. With it ending on a tie, it currently looks like Kate or Niko could be getting the chop in episode 3 But things could all change when Stephen and the remaining eight have their say.
The next episode of The Celebrity Traitors airs next Wednesday (October 15). The show starts at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer and will last for one hour and five minutes. Viewers will finally discover the identity of the first banished celebrity. We can also expect another mission – and another murder from the Traitors.
Thankfully, you won’t have as long to wait for episode 4. This airs the following night, on Thursday October 16. This instalment will be exactly one hour long. The Celebrity Traitors will then continue every Wednesday and Thursday night throughout the series.
