Coronation Street next week sees Becky’s obsession with winning Lisa back escalate after showdown with Costello

Becky is on a mission

Becky Swain appeared completely unfazed by danger in Coronation Street tonight (Friday, November 7), even when faced with a death threat from Costello.

Instead of backing down, Becky flipped the situation on its head, firing back with a chilling threat of her own.

And it seems her scheming is far from over, as Coronation Street spoilers for next week tease that Becky’s manipulative plans will escalate.

Lisa failed to find a loophole

This evening on Coronation Street, Carla organised a meeting at the factory with designer Ella to go over wedding dress ideas with her and Lisa.

Meanwhile, Lisa sought advice from Costello, asking if there was any legal loophole that would allow her to marry Carla while Becky was still alive. Costello confirmed there wasn’t and even suggested that Lisa should convince Becky to go back to pretending she was dead.

Later, Lisa arrived at the factory and broke the bad news to Carla, admitting they couldn’t go through with the wedding or she’d risk being charged with bigamy. Carla didn’t take it well, giving Lisa a harsh ultimatum: either find a way to make their marriage happen and leave Becky in the past, or she’d walk away for good.

The ultimatum clearly hit home. Realising Carla was ‘the one,’ Lisa made her choice. So, when Becky turned up with a gift for Betsy, Lisa calmly told her that the only thing they still shared was their daughter and if Becky wanted to visit again, she’d need to give notice first.

But, Lisa wasn’t aware that Becky had just met up with Costello who had booked her a one-way ticket to Spain for tomorrow. If she didn’t leave, he’d have her killed like he did Tia Wardley. Wow, what a bombshell.

Becky then played him at his own game (come on, she wasn’t even phased by the death threat) and said that he’d put his daughter Lainey at risk if her tried to hurry up her plan to win her family back, despite Costello telling Becky that Lisa would never leave Carla.

With her plan intensifying, Becky then burst into No.6 in a huge panic, making out that she was being spied on at her flat and needed to stay at No.6 to stay safe…

Becky turns desperate in Coronation Street spoilers

Next week on Coronation Street, Becky Swain remains holed up at No.6, continuing to spin her story about being spied on in her flat.

Lisa starts to doubt Becky’s claims, but Becky takes offence at the suggestion that she’s lying.

Carla isn’t one for fooling though and urges Lisa to open her eyes, warning that if someone was really watching Becky, she’d never risk Betsy’s safety by hiding out at No.6.

But can Becky manage to persuade Lisa she’s telling the truth, and will her manipulative tactics help her worm her way back into the family’s good books?
