Bombshell from Kev leaves Robert reeling in Emmerdale
Robert is juggling two lives in the village right now – one with Aaron Dingle, secretly reuniting in search of their happy ever after. And the other as the husband of Kev Townsend, who is in prison.
Kev rescued Robert from beatings inside and Robert now feels an obligation to stay married to him. Of course it helps that Kev only has six months to live and is loaded!
Robert thinks he’s got it sussed, visiting Kev and keeping his spirits up, while being with Aaron back in the village. But sister Victoria wants him to come clean.
In tonight’s episode Robert pays Kev a visit after his husband has asked him to be there urgently. Robert thinks it must be bad health news and prepares himself as he sits opposite his incarcerated hubby.
And Kev does deliver bad news – or at least it’s bad news for Robert, not so much for Kev – he’s getting out.
Kev is being released due to his ailing health and it’s soon. As Robert reels from Kev’s revelation, he knows his worlds are about to collide and everything will come crashing down one way or another.
With Kev set to stay with Charles and Claudette on an outreach programme, he’s literally on Robert and Aaron’s doorstep. So how will Robert sort this mess out?

Spoilers for next week reveal Kev is released on Monday (October 20). He meets Claudette and Charles and then in the cafe he sees Aaron. Robert is horrified and desperately tries to downplay his past with Kev to Aaron.
Robert then keeps them apart as much as he can. He is blindsided when Aaron tells the whole Woolpack they are back together. Victoria meanwhile presses her brother to be honest.
Robert resolves to end things with Kev. But when Kev gifts him a expensive watch and kisses him in public, it’s too late because Aaron has seen everything.
How will Robert get out of this one? Is that the end of Robron for good?
