I’m A Celebrity fans can look forward to a jungle return from Adam Thomas, according to reports.

The former Emmerdale star, 36, is said to be in talks with ITV bosses ahead of I’m A Celebrity…South Africa.

Adam previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016 and he finished in third place.

He still holds the record for doing the most Bushtucker Trials in one series, which stands at 12. The accolade earned him the nickname Mr Bushtucker Trial.

Now, it appears Adam is hoping to beat his own record by heading back into the jungle for the All Stars series.

Adam, who stars in BBC One‘s Waterloo Road and co-hosts 99 To Beat with brother Ryan, is said to have met with ITV bosses to discuss a comeback.

A source told The Sun: “This will be a glorious return for Adam as he established himself as a true fan favourite through his series in camp and then on the spin-off show.”

The insider added: “It’s the perfect time for him to head back into the jungle and affirm his position as Mr Bushtucker Trial.”

When is I’m A Celebrity…South Africa?

I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, which is dubbed All Stars, is a pre-recorded series. It will be filmed in Kruger National Park in South Africa and air in 2026.

Given the format, there is no public vote. This means viewers are unable to pick which celebs take part in the trials and who they want to win.

The stars will instead be gradually whittled down with a series of challenges, with two remaining. In 2023, Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo were the last two celebrities standing.

The pair were given a gruesome eating challenge that left Myleene vomiting in a bush. But as she ate the most dishes, she was crowned the I’m A Celebrity ‘Legend’.

Who else will be in I’m A Celebrity All Stars with Adam Thomas?

ITV is yet to confirm the names of the stars who will be flying out to South Africa for the All Stars spin-off. But there is already plenty of rumours!

Football pundit Harry Redknapp, 78, is reportedly “on the brink” of signing for I’m A Celebrity…South Africa. The jam roly poly-loving star became the show’s oldest winner in 2018 aged 71.

Gemma Collins, 44, is also said to be in talks to make a comeback. In 2014, Gemma – who found fame in The Only Way Is Essex – lasted just three days in the jungle before quitting. She walked after having a panic attack in a helicopter.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Seann Walsh is also rumoured to be taking part in the All Stars series. The comedian first appeared in I’m A Celebrity in 2022 and finished in fifth place.

Seann’s appearance on the ITV show came four years after his infamous Strictly stint, which saw him kiss dance partner Katya Jones. Seann, 39, was in a relationship at the time and Katya, 36, was married to fellow pro Neil Jones.

The comedian faced a massive backlash but his I’m A Celebrity appearance managed to soften public opinion of him.
