Jimmy is about to end up in hospital in Emmerdale as his feud with Joe Tate takes a turn
Joe threatened JimmyJoe Tate issued a dark threat to Jimmy King tonight in Emmerdale. But it seems he gets himself into a panic when he accidentally knocks him down.
It’s been a tough few weeks as Jimmy and Nicola have been trying to keep Carl out of prison for sharing Clemmie’s images. But while they’ve been hoping nothing more comes from it, Joe and Dawn have been wanting justice for the youngster.
Tonight (October 20), the police confirmed that nothing more would be happening. And while Nicola and Jimmy were relieved, Joe was furious.
Joe wanted Carl to pay in Emmerdale
Carl went back to school tonight after the police dropped the case, as his parents hoped it would get his life back to normal. But this wasn’t the case for Clemmie, who was still refusing to head back.
And after Emmerdale’s special episode featuring April and Dawn, Joe was furious to realise that this will always follow Clemmie around.
As the pair arrived at the Woolpack, Joe was disgusted to hear Jimmy and Nicola talk about it as if it was no big deal.
Getting very angry, Joe brought up Angelica’s time inside, critiquing Jimmy and Nicola’s parenting. And when Jimmy tried to defend them, Joe forcefully reminded everyone that he doesn’t mind holding a grudge. And that he is very good at revenge.
Things take a drastic turn
Later in the week, Joe is distracted while driving and accidentally knocks Jimmy down. Emmerdale spoilers tell us that he debates leaving Jimmy on the side of the road, but can’t – because Caleb has seen the entire thing unfold.
However, Joe’s innocence gets harder to prove when Nicola realises he was the one behind the wheel. While he remains adamant that it was an accident, she becomes determined to prove that he did it on purpose.
She decides that she will give her own police statement which will paint Joe in a very bad light. And the only person who could help him is Caleb. But with their frayed history – will he come through? And will Jimmy be okay?
