1. Cassie reaches breaking point at Ross’ birthday
Cassie faces an emotional ordeal in next week’s Coronation Street as Ross’ birthday celebrations push her to the edge.
When Ross calls at No.9 and reveals it’s his birthday, Fiz insists the occasion can’t go unmarked. She invites Ross, Tracy, Cassie and Steve to stay for tea, bringing everyone together to celebrate.
But the party soon becomes too much for Cassie. As Tracy gushes over Ross and tells everyone how wonderful it is to be in a relationship with a ‘real alpha male,’ Cassie struggles to hide her feelings. She eventually heads outside for some air, hoping to compose herself.
However, when she returns to find everyone gathered around singing Happy Birthday to Ross, Cassie decides she can’t keep quiet any longer. But what will she reveal?
2. Adam and Idris go head-to-head
Elsewhere, Adam finds himself making an enemy of Idris.
Adam admits to Alya that he’s representing Abi in her case against Idris. While Alya doesn’t approve, she explains to Idris that she can’t force Adam to drop his client.
Idris isn’t willing to let the matter go, though. Telling Leanne that he wants to teach Adam a lesson, he secretly offers Brody £100 to put the frighteners on the solicitor.
3. Jodie comes to Harry’s rescue
Jodie continues trying to win Lily over and gets the chance to prove herself when she spots Harry being bullied at the precinct.
Seeing a group of lads picking on him, Jodie steps in and scares them away before taking a photo of them as they flee.
Later, back at No.8, Lily tells David what happened and explains that Jodie was the one who stepped in to protect Harry from the bullies.
4. Asha’s date takes an unexpected turn
Meanwhile, Asha prepares for her first date with Sienna and is full of nerves.
Nina reassures her that she looks gorgeous and encourages her to enjoy herself. Later, Asha and Sienna return from their date smiling, suggesting everything has gone well.
However, the mood quickly changes when Sienna receives a phone call. Looking shaken, she suddenly announces she has to leave, leaving Asha, Nina and Amy confused by her abrupt exit.
