Was Ser Arlan’s penis in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 2 real?
Ser Arlan was a knight of great renown... who's also massively endowed
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 2 opens with Ser Arlan going for a pee – and we see his enormous penis. The question is, was it real?
Nudity is commonplace in the Game of Thrones franchise, if not notorious; for example, Lena Headey’s Cersei being “shamed” in her walk of atonement through King’s Landing.
It’s not just women, either (although it is, mostly). Penises, prosthetic and otherwise, are hanging all over the original show and even House of the Dragon.
So, there’s no point in us beating around the bush (pun intended). You’re here because you’re curious about Ser Arlan of Pennytree’s manhood.

Was that a prosthetic penis in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode 2?
While it’s not been strictly confirmed, it’s believed that Danny Webb (the actor who plays Ser Arlan) wore a prosthetic penis in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Webb doesn’t appear to have done any full-frontal scenes, so we can’t go back and cross-reference. However, let’s be frank: the sheer size of it makes it seem unrealistic.
Let’s also do some maths. The actor is said to be around 5’7″. Looking at his figure in the opening scene, that would put the length of his legs at around 2’9″.
The prosthetic hangs right down to the top of his kneecaps, making it around 15-16 inches long.
The biggest penis in the world is believed to belong to a Brit called Matt Barr, and it’s 14.2 inches long. So, unless Webb is vying to shaft Barr out of the top spot, we have to assume that it’s a fake penis.
It has to be… right?

What else happened in episode 2?
Episode 2 set the stage for the rest of the series, thanks to Ser Duncan the Tall (clumsily) encountering the Targaryens in Ashford Meadow.
He initially has a rather rude interaction with Aerion Targaryen, who assumes he’s a stableboy or a servant. When Dunk tells him he’s a knight, Aerion says, “Oh, well… knighthood has fallen on sad days.”
Later, after not-so-sneakily listening into Baelor and Maekar’s conversation, they spot him and invite him in.
Thankfully, Baelor remembers Ser Arlan and effectively allows Dunk to enter the lists. He’s also one of the few people in Ashford (never mind a Targaryen!) to treat Dunk with grace and respect. That’s why Ser Arlan called him the “soul of chivalry”.
Dunk and Egg also take part in a tug of war with their new pal, Lyonel Baratheon, and task Tanselle with painting his shield. Towards the end of the episode, Dunk meets Ashford’s local blacksmith Steely Pate, and strikes a deal with him to get some armour.
We also get a taste of the jousting, though the clashing of metal and screams leave Dunk a little rattled.
