Celebrity Race Across The World's Roman and Harleymoon Kemp branded 'chalk and cheese' in stark warning
Former contestant Jeff Brazier has given his opinion on the siblingsRoman Kemp and his sister Harleymoon have been issued a warning by former Celebrity Race Across The World star Jeff Brazier.
Jeff, 46, appeared on the last series of the BBC show with his youngest son Freddy, 21.
The TV star currently has a fractious relationship with Freddy and he has shared his concerns over how “family dynamics can make or break” Roman, 32, and 36-year-old Harleymoon’s time on BBC series.
Jeff has spoken exclusively to TVGuide, on behalf of Sky Vegas, and described the pair as “chalk and cheese”.
He tells us: “I can see Roman and Harleymoon Kemp disagreeing. It’s clear from the start that their brains work in different directions, but that can be a huge asset.
“If you both see things the same way, it limits your options. So, there are pros and cons, and we’ll just have to see how it plays out. I don’t think Roman and Harleymoon will fall out, but there will be pressurised moments where their instincts clash.”
He adds: “The other thing – and probably the biggest factor that always gets underestimated – is the dynamic between the two contestants. That will be the real test.
“For Roman and Harleymoon, that could be tougher because they’re siblings, and they’re also chalk and cheese. They clearly love each other and get on well, but there will be moments where they think in completely different ways.
“One will want to go one direction, the other another. Family dynamics can absolutely make or break not just a leg, but the whole experience.”

Roman and Harleymoon’s famous parents
The new series of Celebrity Race Across The World kicked off last week in South America. Roman and Harleymoon are among four pairs in this year’s line-up. EastEnders star Molly Rainford and her partner, DJ Tyler West, broadcaster Anita Rani and her dad Bal and actor Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie are also taking part.
The siblings’ parents are 80s pop stars Martin and Shirlie Kemp. They have already joked that their mum and dad will “kill them” if they don’t win the show.
They can now return the sentiment after the news that Martin is among this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! line-up!
Meanwhile, it quickly became apparent in the first episode that Roman and Harleymoon have different personalities. They have since confirmed this in a TV appearance.
Speaking on BBC One’s The One Show, Harleymoon described Roman as “a bag of nerves” during their trip. She added: “We were very different characters growing up, Roman was always very sensible and had his wits about him and I was the wild child. He was always telling me off for coming home late from a nightclub.”
