Celebrity Traitors fans have lashed out at the BBC following last night’s episode (Thursday, October 16).

Last night’s show saw another bloody murder, as well as the banishment of one of the show’s major stars…

What happened on The Celebrity Traitors?

Last night’s episode kicked off with Netflix star Ruth Codd being murdered by Traitors Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.

Ruth became the third celebrity to be murdered. Tom Daley was murdered earlier this week, with Paloma Faith also biting the dust in episode two.

Later in the episode, after a task that saw Celia Imrie scream banshees’ wails into a well, the celebrities gathered around the Round Table for another banishment.

Although there was some heat on Jonathan Ross, attention soon turned to Clare Balding. In the end, the celebs voted Clare off, who revealed that she was, of course, a Faithful.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with the wailing banshee coming for one of Kate Garraway, Charlotte Church or David Olusoga. However, viewers will have to wait until next Wednesday (October 22) to find out who gets murdered!

Celebrity Traitors fans fume at BBC

It’s safe to say that fans are not happy that they have to wait until next week to find out who gets murdered! They’re also furious at the fact that only two episodes air per week. The civilian edition of the show usually airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. It’s also slightly longer at 12 episodes. The celebrity version is only on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and is nine episodes long.

As a result, viewers have begged the BBC to make a huge format change. “Two episodes a week is criminal, seriously,” one viewer tweeted.

“Why is the celebrity version following a different schedule? It seemed like they were stretching the action out across more episodes as well?” another asked.

“That’s the only thing that spoils it for me, is only two episodes a week, I want it boom, boom, boom,” a third wrote.

“Boo, should be on three times week, two is not enough!”

Joe Marler is the ‘smartest’ faithful

Rugby star Joe Marler came in for some praise from viewers last night, as they cited him as the “smartest” of the Faithfuls.

Joe has put forward a couple of theories that have proven to be right (unbeknownst to him, of course).

The star put Jonathan Ross’ name down on his board during the Round Table, something viewers have praised him for.

“Joe actually speaking sense THANK YOU,” one viewer tweeted.

Joe is the smartest but no one is listening to him. And probably out of snobbery,” another said.

“Never thought I’d say this but Joe Marler is the only one of them talking sense!!” a third wrote.

“The Faithfuls are bloody useless except Joe Marler,” another added.
