‘This needs to stop!’ Coronation Street fans ‘appalled’ as soap airs shock altercation as Ross’ toxic masculinity storyline escalates
Ross is turning Tyrone against his friendsCoronation Street fans have been left absolutely fuming at the latest development in Ross’ toxic masculinity storyline.
This article contains spoilers regarding Ross’ current storyline in Coronation Street. Fans have been left absolutely outraged at today’s episode as Tyrone and Chesney came to blows.
The storyline has been going on for a while, but it appears it still has a while to go, as Tyrone is firmly in Ross’ grips. And fans are ready to stop watching.
Ross turned Tyrone and Chesney against each other
Fizz and Tyrone were shocked to spot a huge bruise on Dorin’s arm. When he said that Aled had caused it by punching him, Ross decided Tyrone needed to take action.
Ross encouraged Tyrone to go and tell Chesney that it couldn’t happen again. But when Tyrone went over to their house, Chesney and Gemma managed to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal. However, Ross came in just as Tyrone was getting ready to leave.
He made Tyrone see that he couldn’t just let it go. Instead, Tyrone punched Chesney, leaving him and Gemma shocked. But Ross was evidently proud of his son.
Later, when Fizz had a go at him, Tyrone tried to make it seem like less of a big deal than it was. Soon, Ross even took him to the pub to buy him a drink.
Coronation Street fans fume at the soap

Another added: “Ross is such a bully and it’s so uncomfortable to watch!”
“Of course Ross encouraged Tyrone to hit Chesney. This storyline isn’t okay anymore,” a third commented.
Meanwhile, another angry fan declared: “If Ross isn’t caught out soon, or we don’t find out what happened to Cassie, then I’m going to stop watching. It’s too uncomfortable, and this isn’t like Tyrone at all.”
However, with Ross also directly involved in Gary’s current prison storyline, it seems like he’ll be around for a while longer.
