1. Lucy lashes out
Sally wants to go to the pub quiz, but Lucy’s face darkens when she finds out and she pretends she’s not well.
Looking at Lucy’s art project later, Sally is worried to see a picture of an angry woman. She asks Lucy if it’s of her mum and angry Lucy sees red. Sally is shocked by her losing her temper, but how far will Lucy go?
Tim finds out what happened and Lucy quickly wins him round. However, Sally is worried they’re not cut out to deal with Lucy and she needs professional help.
As the bruise on Sally’s face worsens, Lucy apologises and gives her a hug. She says Sally reminds her of her mum. Will it soften Sally’s resolve?
2. A breakthrough for Lucy?
Lucy is writing in her grief journal and Shanice is watching on. Shanice tells her she hopes she feels happy soon. Lucy is touched. Are the two finally breaking the ice?
However, the next day Ronnie brings a tipsy Lucy back to No.4, so it’s clear it’s one step forward and two steps back.

3. Christina’s promotion brings a shock revelation
George promotes Christina to assistant funeral director and she vows to give it her all. She wants to learn about the job, so listens intently as George talks Tim and Lucy through plaque options for her mum.
George then shows her how to use the computer and she views Rachel Parkinson’s file. Something in it horrifies Christina as George explains she was Lucy’s mum. Christina hurries out, but what has spooked her?

George wants to know what’s happened and Christina finally opens up to him. He listens without judgement and promises he is there for her. But what secret has Christina revealed?

5. Sam’s addiction exposed
Susie is invited to audition for a part in a musical and the adults in the Rovers listen to her perform her audition piece. Sam meanwhile is playing on his phone. He is annoyed when Nick tells him to put his phone away.
6. Sam lashes out
Returning home from school, Sam is agitated and wants his phone back. Nick and Toyah are taken aback by his anger. Frustrated, Sam goes into the office and throws a stapler at the wall in frustration.

7. Eva in danger

Debbie is disorientated and looking for Carl, Sam directs her to the pub and she’s horrified to see Eva lying at the bottom of the cellar steps unconscious. She rushes off to get help, but becomes confused and doesn’t call an ambulance.

9. Kit loses his temper
Dev and Kit go with Bernie to her appointment where she believes firmly the test will be negative. However, knowing that won’t be the case, Kit storms off.
Bernie asks why he’s being so negative and he finally confesses his own diagnosis.
At the station the next day, Kit loses his rag again with a suspect. Lisa sends him home and says if he doesn’t sort himself out he will lose his job.
