David Haye’s behaviour defended by his friends
According to The Sun, David’s pals have revealed it wasn’t “personal”. Instead, it’s believed David would just want to win. And in that moment, that was how he would achieve it.
The source told the outlet: “David is a very calm and thoughtful person. He thinks everything through. He’s very logical.
“His thought process would have been all about survival instinct. He knew in order to have the best chance in there, it was important to have the strongest members of the group in his team.”
They added it was “nothing against Beverley” but that his “brain didn’t think” about how it would look sending the older campmate to the worse camp.
Another friend reportedly told the publication: “It’s not like he’s got a grudge against her. Far from it.”
They joked that while he used to be a boxer, in his heart he’s a “lover not a fighter”.
