Deal or No Deal viewers delighted as player Asiya takes home five-figure sum today
The Banker was well and truly beaten
Deal or No Deal viewers were left delighted today (January 20), as contestant Asiya went home with a huge five-figure sum.
In what was on track to be the biggest win in recent Deal or No Deal history, Asiya turned down The Banker’s mega offer of £35,670 to open one more box.
But with 50p, £75,000 and £100,000 left on the board, was it the right decision?

Deal or No Deal today – Asiya wins BIG
The next box taken out was the £100k. However, all was not lost, as Asiya still had the £75k in play. Before she found out what was inside her box, though, Asiya had a decision to make. The Banker called and offered her a lower offer of £22,575.
Despite believing she had the £75k in her box, Asiya dealt, biting The Banker’s hand off for the money.
“I hope you’re wrong,” said host Stephen Mulhern as he opened the box, revealing the 50p box. This meant that Asiya beat The Banker by a huge £22,574.50!
Viewers erupt
Fans of the show were thrilled for Asiya.
“What a game this has been,” said one. “Asiya yesssssssss!” said another. “Cracking game that was!” a third then said. “She had to go for it. It’s was a no brainer and she still ended up with 22k which is not to be sniffed at! And she had 50p in her box! So the banker was well and truly spanked!” another also declared.

The £100k is yet to be won
Asiya’s big five-figure win isn’t the biggest sum taken home during Stephen Mulhern’s stint as host.
That honour goes to contestant Nay Nay. She won a huge £75,000 back in February 2025. And, coming up to a year later, still no one has beaten or equalled her record.
Host Stephen has teased that something big is coming, though…
Tweeting earlier this week, he said: “It’s a new week and the tension in the studio is rising! There’s a real feeling this week could be a big one! Trust me, this is unmissable!”
Deal or No Deal is on weekdays at 4pm on ITV1
