Death in Paradise series 15 episode 3 guest cast includes 'secret' real-life partner of Mervin actor Don Gilet
The Happy Valley star and former EastEnders baddie kept their relationship under wraps for monthsDeath in Paradise series 15 episode 3 has an impressive guest cast with the personal touch as DI Mervin Wilson tackles a fresh murder.
Mervin (Don Gilet), though, thinks at least he has something easy to solve. A recluse has been shot dead and a witness saw someone heading off on a white moped.
He and the team quickly identify who they think was the moped driver. But the suspect has a cast-iron alibi as they were on the other side of Saint Marie at the time of the murder. So, not so straight forward after all.
But perhaps Mervin should be more concerned that he’s seriously annoyed The Commissioner! Naomi (Shantol Jackson), Seb (Shaquille Ali-Yebuah) and new Sergeant member Mattie (Catherine Garton) are all posing outside the station for a team photograph to promote the force. However, Mervin has decided to watch the football instead.
The Commissioner is fuming as he’s trying to build bridges with the local community. So, Mervin had better solver this case to get back in his good books.

Death in Paradise series 15 episode 3 guest cast: Siobhan Finneran as Fleur Edwards
Siobhan guests as potter Fleur Edwards. Fleur lives next door to reclusive Henry. She’s rather posh and very chatty, whereas Henry likes a peaceful life.
Once a week Henry takes Fleur into town to the shops as she doesn’t like driving. When Henry is shot dead, Fleur reports seeing a white moped leaving the scene.
However, might Fleur have a motive herself for killing Henry? It’s revealed that Fleur had drunkenly complained about Henry. When asked by Mervin about the incident, she says simply Henry didn’t like it when she rejected him. But is she telling the whole truth?
What else has Siobhan Finneran been in?
Siobhan is well known for playing recovering addict Clare Cartwright, the sister of Sarah Lancashire’s character, in Happy Valley.
Downton Abbey fans know her best as devious servant Sarah O’Brien. Siobhan caused something of a stir when she quit the period drama. She explained afterwards: “I signed up to do three series and that’s all I wanted to do. I just talked it through with my family and it was the right decision for all of us.”
She also recently starred in the ITV drama series Protection. Her other drama credits include Time, The Reckoning and The Stranger.
Siobhan is also a great comedy star, showing her versatility. She was Janice Garvey in ITV’s long-running and hugely popular comedy series Benidorm. Plus, she plays Alma’s mum Lin in Alma’s Not Normal.
Ben Willbond guests as Craig Pinnock
Ben is another great addition to the Death in Paradise series 15 episode 3 guest cast. He plays Craig, who’s the prime suspect in Henry’s murder.
Mervin observes that Craig’s white moped was not only seen passing the victim’s house on the day of the murder, but also the night before. Craig gives the unlikely explanation that he was looking for a property he wanted to buy even thought it was dark.
Mervin isn’t buying what the accountant from London is telling him. Plus, Craig admits something in his past which gives him a clear motive. In fact Craig is so obvious, we reckon it can’t be him!
What else has Ben Willbond been in?
Ben is famous as the Captain in Ghosts. His Ghosts co-star, Jim Howick, actually turned up as a guest star in a 2024 episode of Death in Paradise. Ben penned Ghosts along with many of the other stars of the show. They also worked together on Horrible Histories and Yonderland.
Ben and fellow Ghosts star Laurence Rickard wrote the 2015 family movie Bill about the young William Shakespeare. Moreover, the star played Chris in the David Tennant and Jessica Hynes comedy-drama There She Goes.
Death in Paradise series 15 episode 3 guest cast: Kojo Kamara as Baxter Turton
Kojo Kamara plays gardener Baxter Turton. He works on Fleur’s garden. Baxter does his best to engage Henry in small talk, but Henry clearly likes to be left alone.
Baxter is not surprisingly given his job very knowledgeable about what conditions flowers need to thrive on the island. But Henry doesn’t seem keen to take his advice.
Baxter doesn’t look an obvious suspect in Henry’s murder. However, Mervin discovers Henry was making large payments into his account. Why?
What else has Kojo Kamara been in?
Kojo Kamara is a key member of the Death in Paradise series 15 episode 3 guest cast.
His biggest role so far has been starring as DS Selforth in the BBC crime comedy series The Outlaws. Meanwhile, he played Clarence in recent Discovery+ series Sherlock & Daughter.
Kojo’s other credits include There She Goes and The Beast Must Die.
Aneirin Hughes as Henry Ashby
Aneirin plays victim Henry Ashby. Henry loves crosswords and reading. His shelves are stacked with books which are all neatly ordered.
Indeed, when he’s shot dead Mervin notices that his copy of A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens is missing. For anyone who’s watched Death in Paradise forever, you’ll know this small fact is bound to be crucial!
Henry looks like someone who lived quietly, so why would anyone want to gun him down? But then the police find he has a stash of cash and more fake passports than James Bond. Indeed, Seb thinks he must be a spy! But the truth is more sinister.
Henry also has a distinctive tattoo of the winged horse Pegasus from Greek mythology. Mervin believes Henry got this when he was in the army. So why did he leave? And why did someone murder him?

Aneirin has enjoyed a long career in television. He started out in the 1990s, turning up in classic ITV cop show The Bill.
Over the years he’s appeared in a lot of soaps including EastEnders, Coronation Street and even doomed 5 soap Family Affairs.
More recently he played Tom Howells in the Eve Myles-led drama series Keeping Faith. Plus Aneirin was Gorfydd in The Winter King.
