Jean got more than she bargained for at her cleaning job
EastEnders scenes on iPlayer today (Wednesday, August 5), saw Jean Slater walk in on Priya barely dressed at Max Branning’s place.
With Jean doing some cleaning at Max’s place to pay for her rent, she got a huge shock.
She found a barely dressed Priya stumble out of Max’s room…
Max and Priya affair rumbled by Jean in EastEnders iPlayer scenes
Tonight in EastEnders, Jean was off to do some cleaning at Max’s flat in a bid to help her financial situation.
With the Slaters needing to conjure up some cash for their rent, Mo thought she had the answers to their issues. Fat Elvis had sold a load of ‘mopeds’ to her, with Mo hoping to flog them for some much-needed cash.
However, she and Jean were then left baffled when they opened up the boxes to find mop heads instead. Jean then told Mo that they’d need another plan. They’d have to focus on Clean Slaters instead, finding some new clients.
Eyeing up Cindy, Jean then managed to get a job cleaning the flat.
Entering Max’s flat with her new mop head in tact, Jean prepared to get to work. However, she had no idea that Max and Priya were both seeking some ‘light relief’ at that moment.
She then caught Priya wrapped in a bed sheet, staring at her from the bedroom doorway. Yes, Jean had just rumbled Max and Priya’s affair.
Fans predict blackmail twist for Jean and Max
With Jean Slater needing some extra cash, EastEnders fans have predicted that Jean might use her knowledge of Max and Priya’s affair to her advantage.
They reckon that she might blackmail Max in a bid to get some more money out of him.
One fan commented: “Jean!!! Blackmail him like your rent’s due, love!!!”
Another person responded: “I’d love though for Jean to blackmail Max though, can’t lie. Get a few quid out of him, enough for the rent and a little holiday.”
A third fan added: “But what will Jean do next following her latest discovery? Will she use this to blackmail Priya and Max – pay off her rent in exchange for her silence. Or will Jean play Cindy at her own game and subject her to maximum humiliation as she exposes Max and Priya’s affair in the Vic?”
