Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron ends it with Robert and ultimate betrayal next week threatens Robron for good

After weeks of Robert trying to balance his secret marriage to Kev Townsend and his renewed relationship with Aaron, the truth finally came out — and the fallout was explosive.
Emmerdale tonight
Kev decided it was time to go public, presenting Robert with a watch before kissing him in the Woolpack beer garden. Unfortunately for Robert, Aaron witnessed the kiss.
Robert chased after Aaron and confessed everything — including that Kev is terminally ill, that he is dangerous, and that Robert stands to inherit £250,000 if he remains married to him.
Aaron was unmoved. He told Robert that money meant nothing and demanded he end things with Kev immediately or their relationship was over.
Robert agreed and went to see Kev, but the meeting took a dramatic turn when Kev suffered a heart attack. Robert rushed him to hospital, where doctors managed to save his life.
Aaron, fearing Kev had attacked Robert, arrived at the hospital and was shocked to find Robert tearful and conflicted. Robert admitted he still had some feelings for Kev, confessing, “I did love him once. Maybe I still do. But you’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
Aaron told him to end things with Kev there and then. When Robert said he couldn’t, Aaron walked away.
What happens next for Robert and Aaron
In Friday’s episode (October 24), Aaron leaves the village, returning next week when Chas encourages him to apologise to Vinny. The reason behind the apology remains unclear.
Elsewhere, Kev is furious that Aaron has exposed his marriage to Robert, and his temper soon escalates.
Later, Robert tells Aaron that Kev knows about Aaron’s history of abuse at the hands of his father, Gordon, leaving Aaron devastated. Chas is on hand to comfort her son through the fresh betrayal.
Later in the week, Kev delivers a chilling threat, warning Aaron to stay away from him and Robert — or else.
Robert is horrified when he learns about the threat, but Kev manages to smooth things over.
Aaron eventually confides in Mack, who decides to confront Kev directly — a move that could spell more trouble.
Robert has broken Aaron’s confidence over the most painful thing in his life. Robert’s husband is making death threats. It seems like this really could spell the end for Robron for good.
