Emmerdale spoilers: Does April die? Dylan’s cryptic hint may foreshadow tragic twist
April is in all sorts of dangerFans could be bracing for heartbreak in Emmerdale as April finds herself in serious danger — and a cryptic comment from Dylan might have given away her fate.
With spoilers hinting that April could be the next victim in the village, here’s what happened tonight – and everything we know about the scenes ahead…

Dylan settled in in Emmerdale tonight
Mandy and Paddy caught Dylan washing up and keeping scraps to earn his keep. It’s clear they are warming to him and we like this side of Mandy and Paddy having the chance to be caring parents.
Paddy wanted to give Dylan more of a chance to recover and wanted him to stay, despite Marlon and Rhona’s objection. Paddy also confessed he had treated Dylan, and Rhona soon worked out Dylan had been stabbed by Kyle.
Rhona was adamant they needed to tell Moira to get rid of Dylan. Paddy and Marlon tried to persuade her not to do it, but Rhona was very moral about it and said she had to. Wasn’t so moral when she kidnapped a baby, was she, eh?!
Meanwhile, April was giving Dylan a hard time as he tried to make excuses not to spend time with her. Of course we know he was dropping off drugs, but he lied to April he was going to see his counsellor. He told her it was private and she stomped off that he didn’t want to confide in her. All right, April, give the teen strops a rest.
Dylan met up with Ray and told him all about Mandy and Paddy. Ray told him he had another job for him, but DylanSwitch to block editor turned it down because now he had to lie to people he cared about. Ray seemed to take it well and told him to go on and enjoy his life. But obviously he doesn’t mean that!

Does April die in Emmerdale?
Dylan then caught up with April, who was still stropping. But Paddy and Marlon interrupted them and told them they knew how he’d hurt his leg. They had managed to persuade Rhona not to say anything.
Marlon was worried Dylan was mixed up with using again. Dylan assured them he would never do anything dodgy again. He even swore on April’s life they could trust him. But seeing as they very definitely can’t and he’s very definitely still mixed up with Ray, was this foreshadowing, perhaps?
Sure enough, Ray was on the phone later saying he was pleased with Dylan as April would definitely be useful to them. There’s clearly danger ahead…

What happens next in Emmerdale spoilers?
Next week it’s April’s 16th birthday and she has big plans with Dylan: she wants to sleep with him for the first time. Marlon is dismayed when he finds out, but Rhona reminds him he has to let April make her own choices.
Meanwhile, Ray is calling Dylan and when he finally gets hold of him, he asks for Dylan’s help with a job. Unfortunately Ray’s plan is actually for April to do the job.
Terrified April is manipulated by Ray into doing the drug drop. She agrees on the proviso Dylan has nothing more to do with Ray.
As April prepares for the drop, she is frightened and guilty. Marlon pledges his full support to his daughter and her new relationship, totally unaware what April is now mixed up in. Will she go through with it? And will she survive either way?

'I don't go where I'm not welcomed'
Moments later in the same episode, Gemma opened up to Adam Thomas about her feelings towards David.
"David Haye is not welcoming at all. He don't like me," she said, adding: "I just don't think the geezer likes me."
Adam said that Gemma needed to "give him time", insisting that "he's fine".
