Emmerdale spoilers for Sunday August 9: Charity confronts Dr Todd and Billy doubles down

It’s been a traumatic time for Charity recently, as she has been privately dealing with the assault from Dr Todd.
Elsewhere, the drama is continuing at the hospital, after Billy shocked Dawn by revealing Joe attacked him.

1. Charity confronts Todd – but someone overhears
Feeling empowered after her support group meeting, Charity confronts Dr Todd over the abuse. But as she orders her to leave her house, Caitlin tries to goad her.
But when Charity demands a confession, Todd once again threatens to tell Sarah the truth about baby Leyla.
However, Charity doesn’t back down and calls Todd what she is – a rapist. But what neither of them know, is that someone has arrived and heard all of it.
2. Dawn believes Billy’s lies in Emmerdale spoilers
After telling Dawn that Joe attacked him, Billy has the chance to back down. Instead, he maintains that was what happened.
Actually, he makes it much worse by telling Dawn he saw Joe right before it happened.
After some denial, Dawn eventually believes his story.
3. Billy makes a huge suggestion to Dawn
However, she is left heartbroken that Joe would do that, and ultimately blames herself.
When Billy realises Dawn feels trapped in her relationship with Joe, since she’s carrying his baby, he suggests they run away together as a family.
But how will Dawn react?
