As Gary goes to the police, Coronation Street spoilers show Sarah is set to make a decision over her relationship with Kit

In a change to ITV’s usual schedule, Coronation Street aired tonight (Sunday, August 9). And it was quite an impressive episode.
Last week saw Gary and Kit’s feud heat up, as Kit gave him an ultimatum – go to the police by 3pm tomorrow, or he would reveal what he knows about his involvement. But in a surprise to everyone, Gary actually turned to Adam for help.
Gary asked for help in Coronation Street
Not knowing what to do next, Gary actually called Adam for help. And this is a shock in itself as the pair have hated each other for years.
But both of them have one thing in common – they care about Sarah. And so, when Gary explained the whole situation to Adam, he was shocked.
Unfortunately for Gary, Adam didn’t have much great advice. He told him he had two options; hand himself into the police and take the fall for Sarah covering it up, or hope that Kit is bluffing.
If the police manage to connect Gary to the murder weapon, Adam reckons he could get between four months and four years. But if he agrees with Sarah’s events then it could help her case – and even potentially get her out.
However, if he does that then he’s admitting to breaking a few laws, and even could drag Maria into all of it.
But as the pair spoke, Gary realised there was a third option – report Kit because he’s technically breaking the law too.
As this was happening, Bethany had told Sarah all about Kit’s plans, leaving her horrified. She demanded that he stops it, and eventually he agreed. But when he called Gary, it was too late.
Gary had already gone to the police with Adam, and confirmed he would tell the “truth”. But what truth is that?
What happens next for Kit and Sarah?
While Coronation Street spoilers are keeping quiet on what Gary tells the police, they do reveal that Sarah decides to break-up with Kit.
Kit is devastated when Sarah admits she still loves him but insists they need to end their relationship. Determined not to let her situation damage his career, Sarah stands by her decision and leaves Kit struggling with his feelings.
After drowning his sorrows with vodka, Kit admits to Jodie that Sarah has ended their relationship. Jodie attempts to get closer to him, but Kit isn’t interested and walks away.
Kit and Bethany decide it’s best for Harry if Kit stays at the flat. However, when Kit reveals he has booked Harry into Little Big Shotz for the whole week because he can’t look after him, Harry reacts badly and throws his dinner across the room in a huge tantrum.
With Bethany out on a date with Roman, can Kit calm Harry down before things spiral further?
