Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over 'given big celebrity twist' ahead of new series on U&W
Stacey is said to be shacking up with the rich and famousStacey Dooley is taking her hit Sleeps Over documentary series into celebrity homes for the first time, according to reports.
The popular documentary maker is said to have already lined up several well-known guests for the new series.
They, according to The Sun, are all willing to let Stacey move in with them and their families for a weekend.
Stacey will apparently begin bunking up with her new celeb pals to film Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over next month.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary series gives Stacey an up-close look at the relationships and lifestyles of those hosting her.
Previous contributors have included a teenage cagefighter, a Mormon family and a child model. Eco campaigners have also invited Stacey round, along with a family living with disabilities and a 70-year-old dominatrix.
Adult content creator Lily Philips has appeared on the programme with Stacey, too.
A source told The Sun: “This will be her first celebrity series and it’ll be fascinating to see how the stars react under the format.”
Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over’s main home for viewers is U&W. But it is also available to stream on Channel 4 and BBC iPlayer.
TVGuide contacted UKTV, which owns the channel U&W, but the broadcaster had no comment to share.
What happened to Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend?
Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over launched in 2019. Four UK series have aired, alongside two series of its American spin-off, Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA.
If a celebrity series does appear, it will be Stacey’s seventh run overall.
Meanwhile, the reports Stacey’s apparent new run follows the cancellation of Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend on BBC One. This was pretty much the identical format.
The six-part programme featured Alison staying with stars including Perrie Edwards, Lenny Henry and Mel B. However, it is believed to have been dropped earlier this year following disappointing ratings.
Stacey, who previously won Strictly Come Dancing with her now-partner Kevin Clifton, is known for expertly placing herself inside the lives of the people featured in her documentaries.
The mum-of-one is a pro at carefully asking tough questions to get the answers that viewers are all dying to know.
We wonder how famous folk will respond to her moving in for a full weekend, though?!
