Every single star we'd prefer to see on I'm A Celebrity South Africa as viewers slam ITV over Sinitta signing
'Missed a trick – should've put Tony Bellew in'
I’m A Celebrity has seen almost 300 stars set up camp in the Australian jungle over the years, and with all those to choose from, some viewers have been complaining that ITV has made a mistake with some of its 2026 South Africa signings.
The all-stars series, which kicked off on April 6, features the likes of Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas and ‘show saviour’ Gemma Collins.
But it’s the inclusion of 80s pop star and Simon Cowell’s ex Sinitta and former heavyweight boxer David Haye that has urged viewers to compile a wishlist of who they’ve have rather seen on the show…

I’m A Celebrity South Africa stars Sinitta and David Haye face backlash from ITV viewers
Sinitta and David Haye both landed in Main Camp when the show started on Easter Monday. No sooner had David’s VT been shown and he was already rubbing viewers up the wrong way, mainly for comments that were viewed as being misogynistic.
Sinitta, meanwhile, clashed with Gemma Collins, saying that she thought the announcement she’d won a role in West End musical Chicago was “a joke signing”.
“David and Sinitta, I wouldn’t mind if you went home today,” said one viewer. “The death penalty looms for David Haye and Sinitta,” said a second. “Of all the campmates they could’ve picked, why David and Sinitta?!” said another.

‘Should’ve put Tony Bellew in’
So who else would viewers have liked to have seen in the jungle, you ask?
Well, some reckon ITV “missed a trick” by not putting Tony Bellew in there alongside The Haymaker. He appeared on the show in 2023, and became a huge fan favourite.

“If this was live, I’d seriously consider starting a petition to get Tony Bellew back in camp to sort the idiots,” declared one. “Should’ve put Tony Bellew in,” said another. “Really should’ve had Bellew in here going against Haye. @antanddec missed a trick on this,” said a third.
Others wanted Lady Colin Campbell back on their screens. She appeared on the show back in 2015. Chef Rosemary Shrager was another name that cropped up on socials. She appeared on the show in 2012, and was the sixth celebrity eliminated.
“The fact we got the abysmal David Hayes over this icon on the show. Abysmal,” said one fan of the TV chef, sharing a picture of her.

Jungle royalty who need to return
Others have commented that the all-stars series is a little lacking in Kings and Queens, and we tend to agree.
We’d love to see Busted star Matt Willis, who won the show back in series six, back in the all-stars version of the show. Season 10 winner Stacey Solomon would be another we’d love to see back on the show, especially if she went back in as part of a husband-and-wife duo with King of the Jungle Joe Swash.
Giovanna Fletcher should also be given another shot at jungle glory – if only because she won the show when it was set in wet and windy Wales in 2020!
