Scarlett Moffatt has hinted at a secret I’m A Celebrity South Africa cast rift after she admitted that not everyone from the 2026 series is in the WhatsApp group chat.
The former Gogglebox star and current campmate revealed that there is a WhatsApp group in a new interview this week. However, there appears to be at least one star who didn’t get an invite to join it…
I’m A Celebrity star ‘snubbed’ from group WhatsApp
Speaking to Heat this week, Scarlett said: “We have a WhatsApp group. Not everyone is in it, I’m not going to lie. I won’t disclose it, but for me personally, I speak to Ashley [Roberts] nearly every day.”
Scarlett then added: “I speak to Mo [Farah] all the time, Gemma [Collins], Bev [Callard], Sinitta and Harry [Redknapp]. I think you naturally gravitate towards certain people in any sort of setting like that. But they’re definitely the ones I speak to all the time.”
David Haye, who last night sparked backlash over his comments about “ugly birds“, wasn’t mentioned. However, on the press day for the series launch, Scarlett did confirm that he is admin of the WhatsApp chat.
Adam Thomas, Jimmy Bullard, Seann Walsh and Craig Charles weren’t mentioned by Scarlett either. So it appears one or more of them could be missing from the group chat…
On her ‘bush sister’ Ashley
They say never meet your idols but Scarlett admitted she was “in awe” of Ashley when she met her, having loved the Pussycat Dolls for years.
She also revealed she’s a huge fan of Harry Redknapp, calling him “just such a wonderful bloke”.

Gemma Collins is ‘iconic’, hails Scarlett
Scarlett reserved high praise for Gemma Collins, too. She admitted: “She’s iconic. My friends and I quote her on the daily and I was just so excited to see what it was like living with her. Honestly, she exceeded my expectations in every way. I think this is a proper redemption for her and people are going to be really shocked at just how much she throws herself into stuff.”
