ITV is ready to roll out another year of top-tier TV, with I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, Britain’s Got Talent, and a new twist on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire among its entertainment shows in 2026.

It’s a good time to be an ITV viewer. When you’re not tuning in for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, you have ITVX dramas like Red Eye series 2 and The Masked Singer coming up as part of the Christmas schedule.

Before we know it, we’ll be into 2026 – and the channel’s lineup boasts some heavy hitters.

Whether it’s Ant and Dec, Graham Norton, or Gary Lineker, some of the UK’s biggest TV hosts are at the helm of ITV’s upcoming entertainment shows.

After Harry Moulding’s win this year, Britain’s Got Talent will return in 2026 with series 19.

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI are back on judging duty, with hundreds of people set to audition in pursuit of the show’s life-changing prize money (£250,000) and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.

Of course, Ant and Dec are returning as hosts, too.

Britain’s Got Talent is still a juggernaut. According to ITV, it’s the highest-rated Saturday night show across any commercial channel in the UK.

ITV entertainment shows 2026: The Box

Get ready for The Box, a brand-new game show that will “plunge 10 celebrity contestants into the unknown”.

More specifically, each celebrity (Sara Davies, Graeme Souness, Ellie Taylor, John Bercow, Shakira Khan, JB Gill, Ranvir Singh, Jenny Ryan, Danny Aarons, Joey Essex) will find themselves enclosed in giant yellow boxes and transported to mystery locations across the UK.

At the end of each episode, two players will go head to head in The Duel, with the loser facing elimination.

It’ll be hosted by former Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, who said he’s “excited” to “have a front row seat to all the action”.

“The contestants will have to quickly and masterfully work out how each game works, whilst also trying to get ahead of the competition to take control. It’s going to be unpredictable and thrilling to watch,” he said.

Millionaire Hot Seat

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is returning to ITV for Christmas. However, the long-running quiz show is getting a new update in 2026.

Millionaire Hot Seat is a faster-paced twist on the classic game. Six players take turns to climb the Million Pound Money Ladder, and as ITV explains, “a correct answer keeps them in the game, but one wrong move means elimination and the top prize drops”.

Contestants have the option to pass and “stay alive”. But this could mean they never get another turn; how much would you be willing to risk?

Millionaire Hot Seat began in Australia as a spinoff of the original series, with ITV commissioning a UK version earlier this year.

Jeremy Clarkson will return to host this new format (he’s also hosting the Christmas special), and it’ll premiere later in 2026.

“Millionaire Hot Seat is the main show’s cheeky younger sibling, and gives us more Jeremy, enjoying more money-ladder moments – but with a whole new tone, pace, and feel,” Matthew Worthy, co-CEO of Stellify Media, said in a statement.

ITV entertainment shows 2026: The Masked Singer

Prepare to shout “take it off!” again, because The Masked Singer is returning to ITV in 2026.

Davina McCall, Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, and Jonathan Ross (off the back of Celebrity Traitors) will endeavour to figure out who’s masquerading behind the masks. Joel Dommett will also return as host.

The After Mask, an online-only series digging into each episode, is also expected to come back.

The question is, which celebs will turn up in disguise? This year, we’ve had Prue Leith, Daisy May Cooper, and Lorraine Kelly, among many others.

Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s head of entertainment and daytime commissioning, promised the next series will be “even bigger”.

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa

It won’t be long until the I’m A Celebrity 2025 winner is crowned. Thankfully, 2026 has something else in store: I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.

This marks the second series of the show’s all-star version, but it’s been a long time coming. It launched in 2023, with Myleene Klass winning the first series.

ITV said it was a ratings smash hit, averaging 5.2 million viewers across its whole run. However, it was announced in 2024 that the South Africa spinoff wouldn’t return.

There has clearly been a U-turn behind the scenes. Filming has wrapped, and there’s already a rumoured lineup for series 2.

There’s also one major change this time: the public will have the power to decide who is crowned as the “ultimate legend of 2026”, casting their final vote in a live final broadcast direct from London.

ITV entertainment shows 2026: The Neighbourhood

If the success of The Traitors has proven one thing, it’s that people are hungry for new reality TV concepts. The Neighbourhood, a never-before-seen game show format, could be a winner for ITV.

Hosted by Graham Norton, it will follow families and couples as they move into a street and live side by side as neighbours – but also competitors.

As ITV explains, “they’ll be with each other 24/7, sleeping and eating in their houses, socialising together and then voting each other out”. Also, a whopping £250,000 is up for grabs.

Speaking on The Brendan O’Connor Show earlier this year, Norton teased that it’s “competitive in a way [he] didn’t expect it to be at the beginning”.

“There was a bit of people turning on each other but I really liked all the households and I wasn’t expecting to,” he added.

Nobody’s Fool

If you liked Rivals on Disney Plus, you’ll enjoy Nobody’s Fool, hosted by Danny Dyer and Emily Atack.

The new game show has a simple premise. Ten contestants will be chosen to stay in the “unique and mischievous” Smart House, where they’ll compete in various challenges.

They’ll need to convince everyone that they’re smart… and perhaps more intelligent than they actually are.

“Only the contestants themselves will know how well they have done and what information they choose to share with their competitors is down to them,” a press release explains. The players will try to determine who’s the weakest and eliminate them.

In a statement, Dyer called it a “blinder of a game show and unlike anything I’ve seen before”.

“Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end,” he said.

What other entertainment shows are coming to ITV in 2026?

ITV’s entertainment lineup has much more to offer. Love Island: All Stars will return for a third series, set to run for an extended six weeks as fan favourite islanders return to the villa.

Celebrity Sabotage, a new game show that’ll see Joel Dommett, Judi Love, Sam Thompson, and GK Barry team up to sabotage contestants’ daring and funny efforts, will also premiere in 2026.

In The Summit, also launching next year, Ben Shepherd will send 14 contestants on a journey to reach the peak of one of New Zealand’s tallest mountains.

The Floor, a primetime ITV quiz show hosted by Rob Brydon, is expected to begin in early 2026. It will pit 81 contestants against each other, with each player hoping to conquer the floor and take home £50,000.

Quizzers should also be excited for the return of The 1% Club, Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win, and Wheel of Fortune.

There’s also a new cooking reality show: The Heat, following 10 chefs vying for a job under Jean-Christophe Novelli (who has multiple Michelin stars).

There are also The BRIT Awards and the Oscars, with the latter taking place in March.
