As Kevin and Carl go head to head in gun showdown, we know which Webster we’re backing
Carl invited Kevin to shoot him
In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Monday, June 15), Carl Webster invited Kevin Webster to shoot him with a gun in the garage.
After picking up a gun from Fiona, Carl ended up pointing it at his own uncle in a huge showdown.
But, with Carl then inviting Kevin to pull the trigger on him instead, here’s which Webster we’re backing in this feud.

Kevin and Carl’s feud in Coronation Street
Tonight’s visit to Weatherfield saw Tyrone pass his phone over to Kevin so that he could watch Ruby’s video project she’d put together for history class. She was centring it on the 90s, with both Tyrone and Kev starting to feel rather old.
Kevin didn’t want to bore himself with the video but was reluctantly persuaded to when Tyrone reminded him of all of the Jack’s football videos he’d had him watch. It was only fair.
Kev then took hold of Tyrone’s phone and started looking for the video, only to stumble on a different one entirely – the video of Carl tampering with Kev’s car brakes.
With Kev furious that Tyrone and Ronnie knew about it and didn’t even tell him, the trio had it out with each other and threw Carl into the mix too at the garage.
Carl the pulled out a gun and pointed it at Kevin, with Ronnie then leaping in to tackle him.
In a huge twist though, Carl then pointed the gun at his own head. He said that if he couldn’t even get the forgiveness of his family and friends, then he had nothing left to lose.
Passing the gun over to Kevin, he then urged him to shoot him and end their feud with his death there and then.

Opinion: We’re Team Kevin in huge Webster family feud
So, the Websters are still fighting. Kev and Carl were once brothers and now they’re uncle and nephew. But, the change in relation hasn’t actually changed much when it comes to both of them hating each other’s guts.
Carl’s now gone all ‘pity party mode,’ suggesting that life isn’t worth living if Kevin doesn’t forgive him for all of the bad things he’s done. Honestly, we don’t believe that Carl really wants forgiveness. He’ll only carry on doing bad things. He just wants to make Kevin the bad guy.
And, Kevin… well, if we were him, we wouldn’t forgive Carl at all. If Carl had been successful in tampering with the brakes, then Kev might not even be standing here today. We’re not saying Kev should kill Carl, but he definitely has a right to be angry. And, he shouldn’t let Carl off the hook that easily.
Carl doesn’t really have any cards left to play here, the ball is very much in Kevin’s court. Or, well it should be. He’s the one with a decision to make. And, while we’re team Kevin in this feud, we’re hoping he doesn’t let Carl come waltzing back into his life so easily.
