MAFS Australia's Bec blames her new health diagnosis on her 'mean girl' behaviour towards Alissa

The third dinner party had some explosive arguments

MAFS Australia has had quite a lot of explosive scenes so far, and we’re not even at the halfway mark – but Bec has just revealed a new health diagnosis. And it seems to be helping her understand her behaviour towards Alissa on the show.

From the very start, Bec didn’t seem to get on with Gia. But somewhere along the way, the pair of them decided to mutually hate Alissa. While the second Dinner Party was horrific scenes, the third wasn’t much better. And both times, Alissa was at the centre.

But following filming, Bec – who has been fired from her job for her behaviour on the show – has also been diagnosed with ADHD. And she’s starting to understand herself more.

What happened between Bec and Alissa on MAFS?

In shock scenes at the third Dinner Party, Bec exploded at everyone. But Alissa once again received a lot of it.

However, she wasn’t the only one on the receiving end of Bec’s anger, as new groom Joel was too. She called him “repulsive”. However, he accused her of wanting attention and the argument went back-and-forth.

However, Gia then decided to reveal that Bec was that turned her against Alissa, claiming she had sent her messages. She then proceeded to read them out, and it was horrible!

Everyone at the table was appalled. During one of their on-camera moments, Bec said to Danny: “I think he needs to have a good sleep and tomorrow be really proud of me.” However Danny was clearly affected by the texts too, and told his bride: “Don’t tell me what to do.”

On the newest episode of the MAFS Funny Podcast, Bec spoke about her life since the show.

She explained: “For me, my gripe was with Alissa, right. I don’t know why those girls wanted to blame me. But I never told them to be mean to her. I never said that. My gripe was because Gia had told me Alissa and David were saying things about me.

“I thought to myself, ‘well why are you going around telling these people I am in a fake relationship?’ And I’m newly diagnosed with ADHD. I’m reactive. So, even the text messages, you haven’t seen them all. But I’m not going to bring them out because that just hurts Alissa. I’ve spoken to her about it.”

Bec went on to reveal that her ADHD diagnosis has made her want to work on herself, and make changes to her lifestyle.

She explained: “I got tested for ADHD. That’s been transformative for me. But, I also have past traumas that I thought had healed. But being on the show made me realise I have a lot more work to do. I have been actively doing that.”

Bec also spoke about her diagnosis on a TikTok Live, revealing it was a “huge eye-opener”.

The MAFS bride said: “Doing things and then thinking about it afterwards. Everyone’s always like ‘Oh, she’s always apologising’.

“But it’s pretty wild. But it is really liberating to know. It just changes your whole life and your perspective of everything.”
