Tonight (March 11) we see two more couples tie the knot at the altar when they meet each other for the very first time.
But not knowing what you’re future spouse looks like also sometimes comes with a few problems, like the unknown height difference. And for Chris, this was a big issue.
Chris ‘proved’ his height on the show
During tonight’s episode (March 11) Chris gets married to Brook. But it’s safe to say, he’s quite the sceptic of the show.
From the moment he first started talking about his type, Chris made some degrading comments. But another main factor in his wish list, was for him to be taller than his bride.
When asked by the experts how tall he is, Chris was adamant that he was exactly 6ft.
In her own introduction, Brook also expressed that as she is 5ft9, she wanted a tall man, as in heels, she still wanted to be shorter than him. So, if Chris is the height he said he was, then that shouldn’t be an issue.
However, when it came to their wedding, Brook wore her heels, and was actually taller than Chris, much to his – and his friends’ – annoyance.

The whole wedding itself was a bit awkward for everyone, as Chris’ first impression of his model wife was “she’s alright”. And when Brook realised they were the same height, she even asked “where are the inches?”
Things got even more cringey when Brook refused to kiss him after his not-so-romantic vows.
But still focused on the height issue, Chris wanted to prove that he is six foot. So, he actually got a measuring tape to show the camera.
However, eagle-eyed viewers have taken to Reddit to discuss the measuring tape fiasco and some even included screenshots. And it appears that it was actually at 180cm, which is actually just below 6ft.

However, with questions being raised about whether or not Chris is actually six foot or if he lied about his height, Brook has since spoken out about the height difference.
In an interview with Chattr after her wedding episode aired in Australia, Brook revealed that she only ever commented on Chris’ height, after she heard the groomsmen speaking about hers as she walked in.
She explained: “When I said the comment about a few inches, well, when I walked down the aisle, his friends said ‘She’s so [bleep]ing tall’. They didn’t put that in.”
But during the time they spent together, Brook got to see Chris when she wasn’t wearing heels. And so, she doesn’t actually believe he is the height he said he was.
She added: “I’m 5’9, and he’s only a little bit taller than me. I reckon he’s probably like, 5’11.”
As for why she thinks Chris wanted to seem taller, Brook admitted: “I just think, who gives a [bleep] about height. Like, stop trying to be six foot. Boys can be boys.
“I feel like boys always make up things about their heights. I don’t think Chris is funny, I think he is a joke to himself.”
