MAFS Australia's Julia goes public with her new girlfriend after her split with Grayson in tonight's commitment ceremony
Julia and Grayson have called time on the experimentMAFS Australia bride Julia didn’t have the best experience at finding love on the show, as she was never fully feeling that romantic spark with Grayson. However, not long after leaving the experiment, Julia has confirmed she has a girlfriend.
Over the last few weeks, Julia and Grayson haven’t gotten a lot of actual screen-time. But when they did, they weren’t really getting on. Right at the beginning, Julia didn’t seem too interested in Grayson. And their Intimacy Week challenge left everyone thinking the same thing.
But tonight (April 6), Julia and Grayson decided to leave the experiment at the Commitment Ceremony. While Julia believed she had been honest with Grayson about what she wanted, he felt very different.

It was announced that Julia was MAFS Australia’s first ever bisexual bride, and she confirmed in her wedding episode that she had “no clue” if she was being matched with a man or a woman.
In the end, she was paired with Grayson, who was immediately attracted to Julia. But for her, she didn’t really feel the same.
The couple tried to progress things between them, but after sharing a few kisses, Julia still wasn’t feeling a spark. And so, in true Julia fashion, she wrote Grayson a letter, and read it aloud to him, to reveal that she didn’t think things could progress.
However, during the experiment, Bec accused Julia of telling Gia that she wanted to be paired with a woman, and so was disappointed when she met Grayson. This is something she strongly denied, telling the experts she just wanted a “different human” but the gender didn’t matter.
At the Commitment Ceremony, Grayson actually opened up to the experts about how “confused” and “upset” he was, fearing that he would never actually find someone for him. So, it wasn’t really a shock when both of them voted to leave.

Does Julia from MAFS Australia have a girlfriend?
Following their exit, Julia has since confirmed she is in fact in a relationship – with a woman.
Sitting down to debrief on her time in the experiment on MAFS: After The Dinner Party, the 35-year-old confirmed she’s now dating a woman.
Julia confirmed: “I have a partner. Two months after the experiment finished, I went to do a singing lesson with this particular woman – it’s a woman. And I went and apparently I’m not a very good singer.
“But I very quickly realised I didn’t want her to be my singing teacher. We’ve been seeing each other since then.”
Julia decided to keep the identity of her partner hidden.
However, as Julia was opening up on her new girlfriend, Grayson was sitting right beside her. Things got a bit tense as he admitted he didn’t think she actually was interested in trying with him.
Grayson revealed: “Julia wasn’t there, so when I needed something, she wasn’t there. She wasn’t physically present for me to actually bring up my needs. I spent the majority of our relationship on my own.”
