Strictly Come Dancing's Thomas Skinner reveals he's lost a stone as he treats Amy Dowden to a cafe fry-up
Tom says he's "shattered" after joining Strictly Come Dancing

Tom Skinner has already lost a considerable amount of weight thanks to his gruelling Strictly Come Dancing training.
The Apprentice star, 34, says he’s slimmed down after being paired up with pro dancer Amy Dowden, 35, and by “working hard” on his moves.
Thomas is 6ft tall and previously revealed his weight at being 18.1st. But after slipping into his dancing shoes for the BBC show every day of the week, he is shrinking.
Tom Skinner’s Strictly weight loss
Tom told fans earlier this week that he and Amy had been working tirelessly to perfect their routine for Saturday night’s show. He said he was “shattered” and that the pair’s high-energy dance was “absolutely bonkers”.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Thomas told fans he was “absolutely shattered” and had muddled up his days of the week. He added: “Been working hard, I’ve lost a stone, and our dance routine for Saturday night is absolutely bonkers.
“I can’t wait to show u all. Please don’t forget to vote for Amy and I on Saturday night. Hope you all had a great day. Bosh.”
This is the second time this week Thomas has opened up about his weight loss. He also spoke about it on the most recent episode of Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
“I have lost a stone since starting Strictly – I’m a stone lighter,” he told host Janette Manrara. “I can’t wait to get back in the cafe. I have lost weight and I’ve noticed that my trousers are a little bit bigger.”
Tom and Amy at Dino’s Cafe
Anyone who watches Tom’s videos regularly will know he loves nothing more than visiting his beloved Dino’s Cafe. Located in East London, the greasy spoon is the Strictly star’s favourite place to visit.
Tom uploads videos from the cafe, often sharing a clip of an outrageous breakfast, from full roast dinners to traditional pie and mash. Now he’s given Amy a slice of the action, taking her along for a bite to eat. He shared a clip of the two inside.

With locals in the background trying to eat their breakfast, Tom launched into one of his classic “bosh” videos with Amy by his side. “Good Morning and happy Thursday, you lovely people,” he captioned the clip.
“It’s been an early start with work today before I start the dancing and because I’ve worked so hard the lovely @amy_dowden has let me have steak pie for breakfast. We have brought her down the cafe, she loves it!! I’m taking her with me to finish off work and then it’s back in the dance studio.
“I can’t wait for you to see it Saturday, so keep believing in yourself and don’t go home untill ya proud. We never look when we pour. Keep on marching…..in my case, keep on dancing. Bosh.”
Amy smiled as she sat in front of her full English breakfast. She did not opt for a pie alongside her sausages, bacon and beans, Thomas, meanwhile, poured a huge mug of thick gravy all over his steak pie brekkie, which included baked beans and a mountain of bubble and squeak.
Amy’s Strictly health woes
Amy”s trip to Dino’s Cafe comes after she admitted feeling under the weather on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two. Appearing alongside Tom, host Janette Manrara told viewers she wasn’t very well.
“Amy, I know you’re a little bit under the weather so excuse Amy today but he made you a beautiful drink to help you out,” the presenter said. Amy replied: “With turmeric, ginger, pepper.” Janette added: “I won’t make you talk too much.” The dancer also addressed her health on Instagram.
“So Tom has made me a drink because I’ve been a bit under the weather this week, haven’t I? Tom – tell everybody, what’s in here? Tom said: “Bless you. I’ve made her my famous juice I take when I have a sore throat. Especially when I get up early in the morning for the market and it’s cold.
“It’s warm milk with manuka honey, black pepper, turmeric, cinnamon and a little bit of nutmeg. All shaken up, all stirred in – will hopefully make our Amy feel better.”

What is Tom and Amy’s dance on Strictly this week?
Tom and Amy took to the dancefloor for the first time, live, last Saturday (September 27). They performed the Paso Doble and earned a score of 16, finishing third from the bottom of the celebrity leaderboard.
This week, the pair should be hoping to do much better. They will be performing a Salsa dance to the song Bonkers by Dizzie Rascal and Armand Van Helden. They’ll be hoping to avoid the first elimination of the series.
When is Strictly Come Dancing back on?
