Tell Me Lies season 3: What time episode 4 is out and what happened last week

There is one big change this week for Tell Me Lies fans
Cameron Frew

Tell Me Lies season 3 continues this week after its three-episode premiere, with an Oliver and Bree reunion coming in episode 4 – so make sure you know what time it’s out and how to watch it.

The Disney Plus drama didn’t pull any punches in its first three episodes. Bree listened to the recording, discovering that Evan and Lucy slept together… but at the end of episode 1, she still said, “I do.”

That’s a mere morsel of drama. Elsewhere in the premiere, Stephen faked being high to get a confession out of Lucy, and her rape allegation against Chris resurfaced via another student.

Episode 4 is less than a day away, so if you’re locked into Tell Me Lies season 3 and want to watch the next episode, read on.

What happened in season 3 episodes 1-3?

A lot went down in the opening three episodes of Tell Me Lies season 3, so we’ve rounded up the main story beats you should remember.

In 2015, Bree found out about Lucy and Evan, but she still went through with the wedding – and Lucy started to unravel.

Back in 2009, Lucy and Stephen were back together (again), but he had his own agenda. When everyone else took MDMA at a party, he faked it and interrogated her, hoping she’d confess about Evan.

His plan didn’t work, so the next morning, he confronted her directly. She cracked under the pressure, but insisted on how much she loved him, continuing the cycle of abuse.

Elsewhere, Wrigley struggled after Drew’s death, but he found (platonic) comfort with Bree. However, Wrigley also revealed Bree’s affair with Oliver to Evan – whoops!

Pippa and Diana also kissed! But she later revealed she’s pregnant, and it’s probably with Stephen’s child, which was a bit of a buzz kill.

Lucy’s rape allegation against Chris (she wasn’t raped, but she believed Pippa was) came back, with her professors urging her to formally report it.

Stephen, never one to miss a chance to exploit someone, later forced Lucy to confess to the fake allegation on camera.

However, in episode 3, Lucy hooked up with Bree’s foster brother, Alex, after meeting him at a party. They had sex, all while Lucy asked Alex to call her pathetic – so, she’s clearly not doing okay.

As for Stephen, he lashed out at pretty much everything and everyone in episode 3. It’s hard to see how things will improve for him in episode 4.
