The Apprentice Children in Need special: BBC gives first look at Lord Sugar receiving a grilling from kids
Lord Sugar faces his toughest challenge yet!The Apprentice is getting a special Children in Need sketch, with the BBC revealing a first look at Lord Sugar getting interrogated by a host of mini apprentices.
Lord Sugar is used to giving his candidates a hard time, but in the sketch that will go out as part of Children in Need 2025’s appeal night next week, the tables are turned.
Apprentice legend Lord Sugar said: “As a special one off I’ve agreed to let some youngsters come in and grill me, I’m doing a favour for Pudsey. I must be going a bit soft but let’s see what happens.”

The BBC has released a trailer (bottom of story) for Children in Need night, which includes a worried Lord Sugar asking for his mini apprentices to be sent in. Meanwhile, the kids can be seen jumping about and generally causing chaos!
The Apprentice Children in Need sketch: Cheeky kids
Some of the questions the kids are going to ask Lord Sugar have been revealed. And we’re certain that no adults would be brave enough to ask questions like: “Are you the person that made Spurs rubbish?” This is reference to Lord Sugar’s time as the Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur football club. And: “Why is your name Sugar when you’re so salty?”
In the trailer, we can see Lord Sugar laughing, so he clearly enjoyed the funny questions the kids threw at him.
Supporting Lord Sugar are his trusted aides, Baroness Brady and Tim Campbell. They both battle to keep a straight face as the taxing questions keep coming in the boardroom.
The BBC says all the young suited and booted candidates are from the Children in Need funded project, Haringey Shed. Haringey Shed is an inclusive performing arts organisation for children and young people.
