The Masked Singer 2026‘s winner has finally been announced as Moth – but who was behind the mask?

Moth is officially this year’s champion following a nail-biting final with Conkers and Toastie.

The three finalists all sang for one last time before duetting with returning show favourites in the final episode of the series.

Lionfish came back to sing with Moth, while Pufferfish performed with Toastie. Conkers got to sing with former Masked Singer star Snail.

But in a huge shock, it was Toastie who was voted out first. Despite her powerhouse vocals, she was given the boot early doors.

The Masked Singer: Who was Toastie?

Toastie was third up with an incredible version of gospel song, A Star is Born. She really showed off her pipes! Later in the show, Toastie teamed up with last year’s winner Pufferfish.

Pufferfish was West End star Samatha Barks, who also happened to be tonight’s guest judge!

But strangely, despite the insane vocals, Toastie was unmasked first and finished in third place. So who was she?

Toastie turned out to be Mica Paris, who said she was “doing it for her grandchildren”. She added: “I’m so proud I made it to the final.”

But fans were outraged she was beaten by Conkers.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fumed: “Never let audiences vote again. Toastie was ROBBEDDDDD!!”

Another added: “Toastie out before Conker…. this could be a tipping point…!”

And someone else wrote: “I’m SHOCKED that Toastie has come third!! Conkers is a lot of fun but WAY worse than the two women!!”

Who was Conkers?

Conkers was the first act to perform in tonight’s final. He sang 5ive’s Keep On Movin’. He then performed a duet with former Masked Singer contestant, Slug (Andrea Corr).

The pair sang I Had the Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing. But Conkers didn’t do enough to win and was unmasked second.

In a huge twist, Conkers turned out to be Ben Shephard. The panel were stunned, as the This Morning host was a guest judge just a few weeks ago.

Obviously, it wasn’t a night that Conkers was due to perform!

Ben said: “It’s extraordinary experience. I felt like I’d won just being able to come on the show.”

Many fans had guessed Ben’s identity, even if the judges hadn’t. One said: “So Conkers… was Ben Shephard after all!”

Another added: “I said Conkers was Ben Shephard from the very beginning, yay!” And a third penned: “Yep! I guessed Ben Shephard as Conkers!”

Masked Singer: Keisha Buchanan is the 2026 winner

Moth was second up tonight. She sang an amazing rendition of I Want to Know What Love Is by Foreigner.

Moth then performed a dazzling duet with 2022 contestant, Lionfish (Will Young). They sang the Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga duet, Die with a Smile.

She was finally unmasked as Sugababe Keisha Buchanan. Maya Jama had it right all along!

Keisha told the judges she is actually an introvert, so this was a perfect way for her to perform without her Sugababe bandmates by her side.

Keisha sang the final out with Foreigner’s huge hit and sounded amazing. What a worthy winner.

Aw, we’re so sad it’s all come to an end. What a great series it has been!

But don’t feel too down in the mouth. Next week, Britain’s Got Talent will be returning to ITV1 to fill the gaping Masked Singer hole we’re now left with. Hurrah!
