Red Panda unmasked as Harry Hill and The Masked Singer fans are 'thrilled'
A night of reveals!The Masked Singer returned to our screens tonight (January 31), and as we get closer to the final, viewers have a lot of opinions.
As usual, judges, Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan returned to our screens. And of course, it wouldn’t be The Masked Singer without the incredible Joel Dommett hosting the show.
But Saturday’s episode had a lot of expectations, as fans finally discovered The Mole’s identity, after being introduced as a “double agent”. However, that’s not the only reveal that happened on The Masked Singer tonight.
Red Panda revealed to be Harry Hill
Tonight, the remaining contestants, Moth, Can of Worms, Sloth, Toastie, Conkers and Red Panda took to the stage to secure their place in the show.
As usual, there was plenty of extra clues given throughout the episode, which has definitely created some new theories. Or perhaps just continued to confirm ideas.
Once again, after everyone performed, the audience had to make their decision. And after some incredible performances, it was definitely a difficult decision.
Unfortunately for Red Panda their time on The Masked Singer came to an end tonight.
And when it came down to it, Red Panda was not very surprisingly revealed to be the one and only, Harry Hill.
While some fans called it, many were just devastated that he had left the show.
Taking to social media, one fan wrote: “After many years of people incorrectly guessing Harry Hill, it was finally him.”
“Can’t get over this is actually Harry Hill. What a great contestant,” another added.
A third penned: “TV highlight of the week is Harry Hill on The Masked Singer! I am so thrilled.”
Others commented: “I knew it!” and “This is the first time I have actually been right about one of the contestants.”
One sad fan penned: “Oh, I knew it was him but I’m going to miss him. Harry Hill is a legend.”
Who has been unmasked so far?
We are so close to the final, so it’s not surprising that we have had quite a few unmaskings already. And they have been shocking.
Last week (January 24) Anton Du Beke was revealed to be Arctic Fox, joining a crazy list of other celebrities.
Stars revealed to be taking part this series so far are: Anne-Marie as Goldfish, Matt Lucas as Emperor Penguin.
Also confirmed this series are: Alex Jones as Disc Jockey and Professor Green as Teabag. Meanwhile, John Lyndon was Yak, Marcella Detroit was Gargoyle. Finally, Kate Nash was surprisingly Monkey Business.
With not long until the final of The Masked Singer, fans are eager to finally find out who is behind all the other masks.
