'Who would do that?' The One Show's Nikki Fox issues utterly bizarre health warning to viewers
Nikki's Watchdog segment left fans stumpedThe One Show‘s Nikki Fox has left viewers completely dumbfounded after she issued them with a bizarre health warning.
Nikki had fans of the teatime favourite scratching their heads during a segment about a bath time product for children.
The presenter told viewers that the item, a foaming soap, posed a serious danger to kids during her Watchdog segment.

The soap is ‘mouldable’ and is sprayed from an aerosol can. It’s designed so children can play with it while in the water.
Nikki warned that the foaming soap is “highly flammable”.
She explained: “I’ve been looking into a product that could be a real worry for lots of parents across the UK.
“The problem is, it is highly flammable. If a parent were to light a candle nearby, the consequences could be devastating.”
But fans found themselves baffled.

Taking to X, viewers admitted they were flummoxed as to why anyone would even consider burning a candle alongside a child’s bath.
One fan said: “Who’s got a flame near a child anyway, let alone next to a child in the bath or right next to a bath that’s full of nothing but foam?!“
Another asked: “Who is lighting candles in a kids bath??? I don’t like this stuff anyways or let my child use it looks like it would be sticky even after you wash it off.”
A third echoed this, saying: “Why would you light candles around a bath for children in the first place.”
And someone else wrote: “And why would a child’s bath have candles lit around it? They’re children!”
But Nikki cited three examples of children being burned while using the foam.

Nikki shocks Tess and Vernon
The presenter told hosts Vernon Kay and Tess Daly that she’d received a letter from a concerned woman about the soap. The lady said her three-year-old stepdaughter suffered burns when the soap caught fire due to an incense stick burning nearby.
Nikki then cited two further cases, one in Estonia and one in the UK, where kids have received burns.
The segment also included an experiment by the One Show team. They placed two tealight candles directly next to a bath completely filled to the top with the foam.
It very quickly caught fire. Tess and Vernon both gasped in shock at the video clip.
Kids Stuff tells TV Guide: “Our Crazy Foaming Soap is classified and regulated in the UK as a cosmetic aerosol, and complies with all applicable safety and labelling regulations.
