The only snag is what their dad Peter Andre will say when he sees them…

Princess and Junior Andre reveal tattoos in The Princess Diaries

Series 3 of The Princess Diaries has only just dropped and Princess and Junior discuss getting tattoos during a trip to Monaco. They decide they want something special that signifies their bond.

Growing up in the public eye has also meant they had to rein in any “spontaneous” and reckless behaviour.

Now 19, Princess admits: “It was difficult because I couldn’t be spontaneous and I couldn’t do things that I really wanted to do. Social media and press can turn things to be different to how it is. It was the fear of not wanting to risk anything.

“Then you get older and start to realise it is my life and you take control of it. This is why me and Junior have decided to get matching tattoos.

“It’s all about being spontaneous and living in the moment.”

Princess and Junior chat about their plans to Junior’s girlfriend Jasmine Orr and Princess’ best friend Heidi Katona while abroad.

Heidi asks Princess if she is nervous and she replies: “Absolutely bricking it.”

Junior, 21, then reveals what their tattoos will be of.

He explains: “The word ‘unconditional’. We feel like we do everything unconditionally and we love unconditionally.”

Princess also points out that their dad Peter wrote his song Unconditional about their mum Katie Price’s eldest son, Harvey. The 2009 track still holds a special place in their hearts.

In the final episode of the series, Princess and Junior head to the tattoo parlour with the cameras in tow. Princess decides to have ‘unconditional’ tattooed on her rib, while Junior has it etched onto his ankle.

Both squirm at the pain but are thrilled with their finished body art. Next, they have to break the news to Peter.

The siblings decide to drop the tattoo bomb while off fishing with their dad. Princess declares they have an announcement to make, before handing over to Junior.

Peter asks if they are “going somewhere”. Princess says they have “got something”, adding: “Something you had.”

Confused, Pete replies: “Meningitis?”

Princess and Junior then reveal their big news.

Shocked, Peter replies: “Have you actually? Have you actually? You’re old enough to do what you want but it’s a huge commitment. Are you regretting it?”

He immediately softens when Princess reveals her ‘unconditional’ tattoo. Peter tells his eldest daughter: “That is actually really sweet. Did it hurt? That’s really nice.”

But speaking to the camera, Princess concludes: “I think he only likes it because it’s one of his songs. If it was a skull and crossbones, he probably wouldn’t like it. He’d be like, ‘What the hell have you done?!'”
