‘Anyone but her’ The Traitors fans fume as Amanda Holden in the running for celebrity version

While the non-celebrity Traitors is currently taking over everywhere, with the final quickly approaching, viewers can’t wait to see famous faces take on the castle once more.
But while there have been a lot of rumours about who is going to be taking part, Amanda Holden becomes the latest name.
Amanda Holden wants Celebrity Traitors role
Amanda Holden is good friends with previous Celebrity Traitors winner, Alan Carr. So, it’s no surprise that she wants to appear on the show, as she has probably heard all the fun stories and gossip.
But now, The Sun has reported that Amanda would “really love” to do the Celebrity Traitors if she “can make it all work”.
Filming for the celebrity version will be taking place around the same time as Amanda will be on Britain’s Got Talent, so there could be some switch-up needed.
This isn’t the first time Amanda’s name has been in the running. She previously revealed she would love to do it while on her radio show.
She said at the time: “I can’t wait for the celebrity version. I am putting my hand up for it now.
“I’d love to do it. But I would have to be a Faithful. I think everyone would think I would be a Traitor. But I don’t think I could be too duplicitous.”
Fans fume over decision
While Amanda Holden hasn’t been confirmed, it’s definitely looking like we could be seeing her and bestie Alan doing a switch – with him supporting her this time.
But while Amanda seems excited at the idea of taking part, fans aren’t too amused with her being in the running.
Taking to a Reddit thread, fans discussed the possibility of seeing Amanda on the show. And it’s safe to say not everyone was thrilled.
One wrote: “Anyone but her…”
Another added: “No. She would be really annoying.”
“This would actually ruin the whole [bleep]ing series,” a third penned.
A fourth joked that if she is taking part then they want everyone to band together to get her out.
They wrote: “If she gets booked, can everyone bring the most [bleep] theories to the first table and get her banished immediately.”
“Heavy pass. If she’s on it, I will boycott,” another annoyed fan wrote.
However, a few fans weren’t entirely annoyed at the idea of seeing her.
One said: “Not the best but it could definitely be worse.”
“She could be entertaining, I guess,” another commented.
The line-up for Celebrity Traitors series two hasn’t been revealed yet. But fans are very eager to find out – as are we!
