The Traitors 2026 star Reece has spoken out about what the show was really like to film, and it seems some parts of it were actually very difficult.

We’re quickly approaching the final of The Traitors, and while we will all miss it, we are desperate to know who is going to win. Will the Faithfuls finally open their eyes and see all the huge mistakes they have missed? Or will Rachel and Stephen manage to get all the way to the end?

But for some stars, the game ended a bit early. And it seems for Reece, looking back at his time on the show, he found one area of it particularly challenging.

Reece on challenging part of Traitors

During his time on the show, The Traitors fans were very concerned about Reece. Throughout the episodes, he appeared to get very emotional at times, and some fans even wanted him to leave purely for his own wellbeing.

But when he eventually did get murdered by the Traitors, fans were still absolutely heartbroken.

Now, speaking to Heat Magazine, Reece has opened up on how he found the whole experience. And what part of it he felt was most challenging, which was the long days and the length of the roundtable discussions.

He admitted: “They’re such long days and it gets to a point where we have had enough. You wrap up when you wrap up, and you have no idea what the time is.

“Yes, it’s a game, but it becomes your life. You’re with these people for hours and hours, it swallows you up and it’s stressful.”

Reece explained that even when he headed back to his private lodgings for the night (they don’t sleep in the castle), he still found himself “stressing about every interaction” he had in the day.

He explained: “Your mind is going 100mph. There is no switch-off. And that was as a Faithful!”

Fans have been obsessed this season

In the last episode, host Claudia Winkleman revealed to the players that The Traitors can now give someone a ceremonial dagger. And this means they get two votes at the next roundtable, which is enough to change everything.

The twist came as a huge surprise to everyone, including Traitors Rachel and Stephen, who now must decide on who they trust the most to keep them in the game.

Of course, they could always give it to one of them and have their safety guaranteed, but with Faithfuls already missing a lot of their mistakes, would this one fall through their eyes too?

Thankfully we don’t have long until we find out who gets the power, as The Traitors is back on our screens tomorrow night (Wednesday 21 January).
