At the moment, Gary’s relying on the police believing his alibi that he was with Maria at the builder’s yard. But, Tim’s photo confirmed that he wasn’t where he said he was at the time of Theo’s death. So, where was he? Sarah was badly injured that night (Credit: ITV) Gary and Sarah’s whereabouts on the night of Theo’s murder There are certain things that still aren’t adding up when it comes to what happened on the night of monster villain Theo Silverton’s death. And, the police know this too – hence the big murder investigation currently taking over the Street. Gary Windass told the police that he was at the builder’s yard at the time of Theo’s death. Maria then gave him an alibi, telling Kit and Lisa that she and Gary had slept together at the yard and she’d made him delete the CCTV to avoid embarrassment. Tim’s photo though, taken on that night, saw Gary walking next to the scaffolding at the time he was supposed to be at the yard… So, he either lied about not killing Theo, or there’s another reason he wasn’t where he said he was.Don't miss a single story! Gary is a prime suspect (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street fan theory predicts Gary and Sarah affair twist We don’t know what happened between Sarah leaving the wedding and getting knocked out. But, we do know that she didn’t like Kit suggesting that Gary could’ve been the one to kill Theo. She remained very loyal to her ex. With all of this in mind, a new Coronation Street fan theory has ‘worked out’ that Gary and Sarah slept together that night. Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “Sarah and Gary. I think they slept together on the night of the murder. I’ve just been catching up on this week’s episodes, and they’re both acting so shifty and definitely hiding something. But I don’t think either of them were the murderer because it would just be too obvious. Sarah isn’t even in the lineup and they’re trying a bit too hard to put Gary in the frame this early on, which usually means it wasn’t him. So I think they had an affair before Sarah went back to the Platt’s house and got whacked. “Not to mention that Sarah seemed a bit too concerned about Gary when she was asking Kit about the questioning. It’s like she was seeing if she would have to come clean about an affair to be an alibi and save him from getting charged for murder.” Another fan replied: “Good shout! Hadn’t thought of this,” while a third person contributed: “I think this theory is delightfully solid.” But, are Sarah and Gary hiding this big secret? Is this why Gary wasn’t actually at the yard when he said he was?
