Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ Maggie as the upcoming death as stars film shock court scenes
There is a huge murder on the cobbles next weekCoronation Street fans are convinced they know exactly who the upcoming death is, after Maggie actress Pauline McLynn didn’t appear to be filming for shock court scenes.
It’s the build-up to a huge week for Coronation Street, as the flash-forward murder is finally here. Earlier this year, viewers were told that someone will be murdered. But the victim, and culprit, are unknown.
However, they were given a clue – it’s down to five potential victims. They are: Jodie, Theo, Maggie, Carl and Megan. All five have been villains on the street for some time. And for one, their reign of terror is soon to be over.

Coronation Street stars film court scenes
According to Metro, members of the Coronation Street cast have been filming court scenes. And while even the reasoning for the court scenes is unknown, fans are more interested in who has been on location.
Characters who have been spotted filming include: Will, Ben and Ollie Driscoll. Along with Eva Price, Leanne and Toyah Battersby. And we can only think of one storyline that would fully link only these characters – Megan’s grooming of Will.
If that’s what the court case is for, then the absence of Maggie is quite shocking. So far, she has been a huge part of trying to out the truth, going as far as threatening Megan herself.
So for fans, the main reason she wouldn’t be in attendance would be if she physically couldn’t be – if she was dead.

Is Maggie the upcoming death?
After the images circulated online, fans were very quick to come up with their own theories. And the most popular one was that Maggie had died.
One penned: “This is interesting. I don’t see Maggie there. But I do kind of like her character, so I hope it’s not her.”
“Court scenes being filmed… but no Maggie!” a second wrote.
Another added: “Maggie would definitely be there if this is about Megan grooming Will. I think she might be the death then.”
However, a few others think it could actually be a murder trial – and Maggie’s the one up in court. As Megan also wasn’t spotted filming.
One commented: “I think there’s a twist that Maggie is actually the one in court, and Megan is the one who gets murdered. Then there is another twist and it was really Sam who murdered Megan.”
Another had the same idea: “My money is on Megan, killed by a delusional Sam. But Maggie finds the body, thinks Will did it, and covers it up / takes the blame.”
