This week’s scenes revealed that young Sam has been hallucinating Will Driscoll, believing him to be out to get him at every corner he turns. With Sam slowly breaking down and spiralling, there might be an explanation as to why viewers saw him upset on the night of Theo’s death. After weeks of silently struggling, his family has now become concerned about his mental health. With Sam bumping into Will Driscoll at school, he was later approached by him once again at the Red Rec. Fans now think that Sam killed Theo (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street fan theory predicts Sam killed Theo Silverton With Sam being seen upset in a brief scene during ‘murder week,’ and with it now being revealed that he’s been hallucinating Will, some Corrie fans think that they’ve cracked the case. They think that Sam could’ve hallucinated Theo as being Will. And then he could’ve bumped him off during an altercation. Taking to Reddit, one fan suggested: “Does anyone think it’s possible that Sam killed Theo? there was that random scene in the episode where the body was found of him sat on the floor crying, and then in today’s episode he had a fight with a hallucination.” Another fan responded: “Yes! My money has been on Sam since the death of Theo. I think it’s possible given the fact he’s clearly struggling with psychotic episodes. I think he has either mistaken Theo for Will, or as you said, he climbed the scaffolding to hide from ‘Will.’ I’m just not sure how it would have played out once he got up there.” A third viewer wondered: “Interestingly just watched the scene of Sam ‘punching’ Will and the revealing shot being from the upper scaffolding just in view, I’m thinking it’s creeping up the list.” This would be quite the twist.
