Telling his family that he was off to Scotland to move in with his mum, Will secretly set off for Paris instead. Getting into Tim’s cab, viewers saw Will book his flights to the city of love as he made a dramatic escape from Weatherfield. Megan took the £2k from Will (Credit: ITV) Will steals £2k from the Rovers in Coronation Street Ben and Eva panicked when they woke up to find the Rovers’ safe open and that £2k was missing. Realising that Ben had upset Sean just the day before, the couple feared that Sean had retaliated by taking the money. Poor Sean was soon questioned and couldn’t believe they could accuse him of such a thing after 20 years of service to the pub. Will made out that he didn’t though, emptying his bag to prove that the money wasn’t on him. Of course though, his family didn’t know that he’d just met up with Megan and handed her over the money so that they could set up a life together in Paris. Megan had been worried that Will’s family might realise who really took the money from the safe but Will assured her that, by the time they worked it out, they would be long gone.Don't miss a single story! Tim set off for the trip to the station as Will quietly scrolled on his phone and booked his flights to Paris.
