With Daniel drunk and asleep on the sofa, Bertie took it upon himself to pop something in the microwave. But, it exploded! The lad then left his dad alone as a fire burst out in the flat, popping to the Barlows’ for a biscuit instead. Priorities. Daniel rumbled the truth (Credit: ITV) Daniel exposes Jodie as Truthteller in Coronation Street Jodie tried to reassure Daniel today that Truthteller probably didn’t mean what they said. It wasn’t like they were actually going to go into full ‘meet and greet’ mode with Daniel. Daniel had only told Jodie about his intention to ask to meet his troll in person though, quickly realising that she was behind the account. Jodie denied it when he publicly accused her in the pub of being both Truthteller 1 and 2 as the punters tried to get Daniel to sober up. She’d trolled him so she could be his rock and stay by his side. But, she had no idea who created Truthteller2. That wasn’t her. But, he was meant to be watching Bertie. His son expressed his need for dinner, but Daniel was flat out. Trying to take initiative, the youngster tried to cook his own food in the microwave but it exploded. When his dad wouldn’t wake up, Bertie decided to leave him in the flat and pop over to his grandad Ken’s house in the hope of being given a biscuit. Luckily, he ended up mentioning the exploded microwave, with Adam grabbing the spare key to Daniel’s flat and rushing in to open the windows of the smoke-filled flat.
