In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Monday, June 8), Sam Blakeman hallucinated Roy again and envisioned harm to Will Driscoll.

With Will about to run his race, Sam had to take drastic action to stop Will from ‘getting the runs’ quite literally.

As his hallucinations intensify, spoilers have confirmed that a Street search party will break out in a bid to track down the ‘missing’ teen in his hour of need.

Sam’s hallucinations set out to cause harm to Will in Coronation Street

Sam hallucinated Roy once more tonight and, this time, the hallucination set out to cause harm towards Sam’s ‘enemy.’

With Sam not doing anything to stop Will from ‘ruining his life any more,’ fake Roy then stepped in to cause harm instead.

He revealed that he’d spiked Will’s water bottle so that he’d ‘get the runs’ during the race, ruining his athletics career.

Sam then intervened, grabbing Will’s water and pouring it out. He then told the Driscolls that he’d seen a wasp go into it and would top it up.

Eva wondered whether everything was okay, and Sam assured her that it was. But, Sam continued to see Roy and was warned about how Will would end up killing him if he didn’t get to him first.

Coronation Street spoilers confirm Weatherfield’s mission to find struggling Sam

Later on in the week, Sam’s imagination runs wild when a strange vision of Roy suddenly appears and starts pushing him to stand up to Will. Sam quickly protests that confrontation isn’t his style, but the phantom Roy harshly labels him weak before declaring their bond finished for good.

Later, a trip to the Rovers takes an unsettling turn when Sam comes across Will enjoying a video game in the back room. His nerves instantly kick in as the imaginary Roy insists Will can’t be trusted. Overwhelmed, Sam rushes away, while a puzzled Will follows to check he’s okay. In a desperate attempt to escape the situation, Sam shuts himself inside the café.

His confusion deepens when he becomes convinced there are two Roys in front of him at once. As Nick, Toyah and Leanne struggle to reassure him, Carla notices Sam alone in the precinct and senses something is seriously amiss. She quietly calls for help, but when Nick and David arrive, Sam takes off, leaving Carla deeply concerned about his state of mind. She worries that Sam might have psychosis. Is she right?
