1. Maggie confesses the sins of the father

Emotions are running sky-high in The Rovers as Maggie finds herself under fire from both Ben and Will – and for very different reasons. With tempers flaring, things quickly take a worrying turn when Ben suddenly suffers a dizzy spell.

A panicked Maggie is quick to suggest calling an ambulance, but Ben shuts it down and instead demands answers about his dad. It’s a moment Maggie can’t dodge any longer. Realising she’s backed into a corner, she finally drops a bombshell – Alan wasn’t Ben’s father at all. She admits to a one night stand, but keeps tight-lipped about the identity of Ben’s biological dad.

It’s a lot for Ben to take in, but the drama doesn’t stop there. When Steve arrives and casually mentions he’s left Ollie and Amy alone at Number 1, Maggie’s reaction raises serious alarm bells. It’s enough to leave everyone wondering – is there an even bigger secret about to come out, and could Jim actually be Ben’s real father?

2. Debbie faces reality

Over at The Rovers, there’s a rare moment of celebration as Kevin excitedly tells Gemma that Debbie has won her appeal. It should be a time for relief, but the mood quickly shifts.

Ronnie soon arrives with worrying news – Debbie has gone missing. Kevin is instantly thrown into panic, fearing the worst just when things were finally looking up.

Meanwhile, Carl tracks Debbie down sitting alone on the swings. Clearly relieved to see her out and free, he’s genuinely pleased she’s been released. But Debbie’s quiet moment away from it all suggests she’s still got plenty on her mind.

3. There’s no escape for Sam

Elsewhere, tensions continue to simmer as Leanne and Toyah clash over what’s best for Sam and his counselling.

Caught in the middle of it all, Sam later comes face to face with Will in the bistro. Keen to make amends, Will offers him an apology. Sam does shake his hand, but it’s a reluctant gesture at best – and it’s obvious that the trust between them is still a long way from being repaired.
