Lily Platt was in the April 23rd scenes, walking the cobbles upset following Jodie’s departure. A new fan theory though has wondered whether she witnessed Sarah killing Theo. Sarah killed Theo (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street’s Sarah killed Theo Sarah’s world unravelled at Kit’s dinner party this week after she cut her hand on broken glass, the shock sending her straight back to a nightmare she had tried to bury. It took her back to April 23rd, when Theo Silverton met his death after a confrontation up on scaffolding. In the flashback, Sarah lost her temper during a heated exchange and struck Theo with a pole, sending him falling to the ground. He told her to clean herself up and make sure somebody saw her elsewhere so she’d have an alibi. He then hid the evidence. However, Sarah’s now been unable to hide her guilt from best friend Todd and had told him who the true killer was. Todd couldn’t believe that Sarah killed Theo and watched Summer go to prison for it. He promised to keep the murder a secret for Sarah, but he didn’t want anything to do with her ever again. Lily was on the Street on April 23rd (Credit: ITV) Coronation Street fan theory suspects Lily Platt knows who killed Theo With Lily Platt being scene in a brief scene during Carla and Lisa’s wedding day episode, a new fan theory has predicted that she actually saw Sarah kill Theo. This would mean that she’s been keeping the secret for her ever since. Taking to Reddit, one fan theorised: “In the episode where Theo is murdered, theirs a part when Betsy and Lauren return to Coronation Street and Lily runs past them in tears urgently trying to get in touch with Jodie (pick up Jodie please! Lily, are you ok, yeah I’m fine). “Before we saw Lily saying goodbye to Jodie and Jodie told lily to go home (which she does), so it looks as if something happened after that to upset Lily and make her try to contact Jodie again, but we don’t see Lily again in the episode after this scene and the next time we see her, she acts like everything’s fine. “I actually wondered if Lily had seen Sarah killing Theo (considering Tina O’Brien said their were more twists to come with this), and was trying to contact Jodie to tell her, but this scene seemingly happens before Theo is killed since not long after we see Theo in his flat with Summer so I’m not sure.” It looks as though the timings could be a little off with this one, but it doesn’t rule out Lily heading back onto the Street to search for Jodie again later on. And, then spotting Sarah kill Theo. After all, if she was in the house earlier on, she would’ve seen Sarah’s attack. So, she could’ve still been out at the time of the death.
