Megan’s mum arrives with an apology Drama is never far away, and this time Megan finds herself at the centre of another emotional showdown as her mother Janine Walsh gets involved. Maggie, Ben and Eva are left completely shocked when Janine unexpectedly turns up at the pub. Hoping to build bridges, she apologises for Megan’s behaviour and insists she wants to help in any way she can. But if she expected a warm welcome, she is in for a disappointment. Janine’s attempt to make peace falls flat, leaving tensions as high as ever. Back at Megan’s car, Janine admits she had no luck finding Will. The news sparks an emotional reaction from Megan, who breaks down in tears as she opens up to her mum. Megan claims that Will took advantage of her when she was at her most vulnerable and says she could now end up in prison because of it. Janine appears completely taken in by her daughter’s version of events. Convinced Megan is telling the truth, she later approaches Will in the street. But what does she want, and could her involvement make an already difficult situation even more complicated? Sarah speaks to Lisa about the attack (Credit: ITV) 2. Sarah looks for answers Meanwhile, Sarah is determined to get to the bottom of what really happened on the night of her attack. After spotting Jodie outside, she wastes no time approaching her and asking questions. Things become even more interesting when Lisa arrives and tells Sarah she would like to go through the events of that night again. Once inside, Sarah carefully recalls everything she remembers. She remains certain the attack took place at 9.10pm and clearly remembers David the dog barking non-stop. As the details are revisited, fresh questions emerge. Could Jodie know more than she has revealed so far? Sam knows where he should be (Credit: ITV) 3. Nick and Toyah worry about Sam’s next step There is some encouraging news for Nick and Toyah when they learn Sam should be ready to leave hospital by the end of the week. However, their relief is short-lived when Sam reveals he wants to attend Megan’s trial. Believing it could help him move on, he hopes being there will give him some closure. Nick now faces a difficult decision over whether to support Sam’s plan. Elsewhere, Will overhears Ben, Eva and Maggie discussing the court case, leaving him with plenty to think about as the pressure continues to mount. 4. Summer’s new friends raise concerns Over at the bistro, Asha, Nina and Amy are surprised to find Summer already tipsy and enjoying the company of some lads they met only yesterday. When Summer announces she is heading into town with her new mates, her friends immediately become suspicious. While Summer seems eager for more fun, Asha, Nina and Amy are not so sure, leaving them wondering exactly where the day could lead.
