Battered Todd finally speaks out
Things have gone from bad to worse for Todd since he married Theo. After being locked in the bedroom by his husband, Todd managed to convince him to let him out.
He promised he loved Theo and they were going to go to Belfast together. He even lied to Sarah that they’d already left without saying goodbye in order to prove himself to Theo.
But then Theo went in the shower and Todd then took his opportunity to flee. However, he found Theo had locked them in the flat. And then Theo caught him and dished out his most viscious beating yet.
Todd finally managed to escape and turned up at Sarah’s flat barely able to move. But he insisted she didn’t take him to the hospital, but to the police station instead. He knows that is the only way to end this.
He heads to the station and reports Theo for assault. Bloodied and bruised, it’s clear the months of abuse have finally taken their toll.
But Todd has found the courage and strength and he tells Lisa and Kit everything that has happened and everything Theo has subjected him to. But will it be enough to get Todd away from Theo for good?

Meanwhile, Theo knows he’s made a massive mistake and there’s no way out. Knowing his time is up and he has absolutely no hope of charming his way out of this one, Theo makes plans to flee.
Desperate to get away before it’s too late, he gets his stuff and is ready to leave.
However news of his violent and controlling behaviour spreads like wildfire. Will the residents of Weatherfield really let him get away that easily?
