Claire Crick (EastEnders Insider Editor)

  • Claire’s favourite career moment to date is interviewing the late June Brown, AKA Walford’s Dot Cotton. Soap stars don’t get much more legendary than that!
  • Claire’s favourite recent storyline in EastEnders was ‘The Six’ - from the flashforward right the way through to Keanu’s body being hidden under the floor in the café - it was brilliant.
  • The live episode for the 25th anniversary is her favourite, especially when Stacey revealed she was the one who killed Archie Mitchell.

Experience

After starting her career at All About Soap, where she stayed for 13 years, Claire spent 8 years at whatsontv.co.uk and whattowatch.com as UK Managing Editor, where she wrote about all things TV and film. Over the years, she has written for titles including TV Times, What’s On TV, TV & Satellite Week, Digital Spy, Inside Soap, Entertainment Daily, TV Guide and Woman & Home. She is now Editor of EastEnders Insider, writing all about the drama on Albert Square.

Education

Claire has a BA joint honours degree in History and Media With Cultural Studies from UWE in Bristol.
